| This OVA is nothing more than a continuation of the series... and well, it should be, I guess. But what it doesn't do is put an end to the TV show. On the contrary, most of the things that were unresolved at the end of the series... remain unresolved at the end of the OVA (particularly the relationship between the two main characters). That's what bothered me the most... I mean, if anyone had the trouble of making an OVA of the show, at least they could have added something to the 'unfinished' and unsatisfatory end of the series. I think.
This OVA is, in every other aspect, very enjoyable. If one can view it as a slightly long episode of the TV series, that is.

| Animation: Much more better than the TV series. It looked like if it could be in a decent animated movie.
Sound: I somewhat liked the OP... and the ED was nice. The OST music was good enough for me to enjoy throughout the anime.
Story: Basically, the story is concentrated onto Harue's love story. I'm glad that they gave some commitment other than the mainstream character (Takaya). In this OVA, there is yaoi involved (different from shounen-ai)... in episode 2.. which I find very hot XD... hahaha.
Character: Good
Enjoyment: I enjoyed this much more better than the TV series.

| I wasn't really happy on the way the Mirage of Blaze Series ended, even though it was great, the ending was more of a cliffhanger. However I didn't like the way the OVA ended either XD. I mean they case was good, the story was great but still.
The OVAs were talking more about Haurie's past love life rather than Naoe and Takaya. The first episode was everyone getting back together, and an intro on the case. Haurie also talk to Takaya about her past lover and how she has waited 200 years for him to be reincarnated again. You don't even see Naoe and Takaya seeing each other until the last second.
But in the beginning of the second episode, Naoe pretty much came on to Takaya. But that whole scene took only 15 minutes or half of the episode, they didn't have sex, Naoe just put his hands down Takaya pants, Takaya was too unwilling, he was too scared XD. The rest of that episode was also about exorcising the demons out of this quilt that was made of the hairs that was made of the deceased of a clan.
The last episode as all about Haurie and her past lover (in the first episode- Haurie thought she found her reincarnated lover, she's been chasing him ever since in the whole 3 episodes). In the 3rd one, she knew it really wasn't him, sort of a waste, don't you think?
Okay I'm terrible and telling story telling, sorry XD.
Animation: I like the shading and the hair better than the series, but I like the drawings (the lining) from the series better. But in the OVAs the colours are a lot better.
Music: The music in the OVAs werea bit better than the BG music in the series, they matched with the emotions the characters were feeling.
Characters: Takaya was still the same, but Naoe did try to sorta rape him, I found that mean, but when Takaya started crying and yelling he stopped...and also the phone ringing was a distraction (it was a call for the case). In the OVAs, you get to know more about Haurie as well, she seamed a bit less hyper in the OVAs than she did in the series.
Well in the end, I'm not sure if Naoe and Takaya got back together, it also was a cliff-hanger between those two. But Haurie forever will continue to search on her reincarnated lover.
I enjoyed the story very much, and all the angst. Between Haurie and Shintaru (her lover's name), it was real sweet. But my main intention was watching it for the shonen-ai, and there wasn't very much XD. Damit, I winded up liking the straight romance better, mainly because there was more of a story.
