Basically, this anime is a recap of the first 8 or so episodes from "08th MS Team" told from the point of view of an Intelligence Officer named Alice Miller, who is investigating whehter or not Shiro Amada, the main character from 08th MS Team, is a spy for Zeon.

The animation is little better than the original, character models and action sequences are very similar and compared to today's standards the anime is still a bit dated.

The soundtrack was fairly bland, and I didn't notice anything too great from it during any of the scenes. The sound did not enhance nor detract from the quality of the story or this anime itself.

The story, as I stated, is pretty much nothing more than a simple recap of the events already featured in 08th MS Team. While it is interesting to see things from another perspective, it is also very repetitive.

As to the characters, they are just as good as the original, as to be expected, though we don't get as much development in the characters and don't get to see as much of them as in the original series. Alice Miller wasn't so much a character as she was a narator recapping things from a neutral and detached perspective.

Unless you were a fan of the original series, I wouldn't reccomend this anime. It is merely a retelling of the original story with a few added scenes, mostly having to do with Alice Miller.

I enjoyed this anime, but I enjoyed the original series much more.
