| Touch manga is a definite classic manga to read. Almost beyond a doubt one of Adachi Mitsuru's best works. Great protagonists, great storytelling methods, and none of that angsty teenage drama that is so common nowadays. Good old-fashioned girl and boy story telling with sports. Compared to H2, Touch is much better in both the baseball and romance department. It is about a boy and a girl trying to work out with their various troubles growing out. Very sweet...
One might ask: If I've watched the anime already, is this even worth reading? My answer would be not really. The manga and the anime form are essentially identical. maybe a few extra dialogue or side scenes were added in, but nothing important at all. The ending is essentally the same, if I remember correctly. However, i read the manga first and found this to be a very delightful read!
