| This review is based upon viewing all eps of this anime that I watched as a kid and a few eps I've watched recently to refresh my memory.
This is not a sailor moon parody or a sailor moon rip-off (people should stop calling every magical girl anime that's not sailor moon a sailor moon rip-off jeez). Cutey hoeny came before sailor moon which is a magical girl anime... there.
BUT It is by the same character designer if that's what people mean by it looking similar.
I saw it as a kid, the supposed age group it was aimed towards on TV but of course I wouldn't put effort to rent it or buy it. that is why the enjoyment is higher.... since I watched every ep of it on tv, at least it kept me watching..
Better magical girl animes: Kaitou Saint Tail, Akazukin Cha CHa, Sugar Sugar RUne

| As far as magical girl anime go, this has to be one of the best I've seen and has firmly rooted itself in 2nd spot (Sailor Moon being #1 of course ^_^).
Trying not to compare this to Sailor Moon would be totally impossible, but it's similarity is NOT a bad thing *lol* This is what magical girl anime is all about; OTT transformations, monsters of the week, evil turned good and a really wonderful ending. You can't really ask for more, although I'm not saying it doesn't have it's faults, as it does! However, fans of this genre should love this title, plus it has a really wonderful romantic element to it that might appeal to fans of romance anime as well ^_^

| Not a bad anime at all, and despite people saying that it is merely a copy of Sailormoon, I think it's got its own elements and storyline.
The character design was pretty impressive, and their clothes were designed to fit their roles (sometimes they had really extravagant costumes that were good to look at!). I like the school life element of this anime and also the romance between the couples. I got hooked onto this series after watching the third episode on television, because it successfully combines humor with romance and then also school life - and it does it fairly well.

| At first this anime really scared me because girls transforming and running around in wedding dresses sounds like a typical girlie wedding scary little show, but it's really not about that, it's got a very nice story line, and everything is explained in a reasonable, not thrown together, way.

| Bei Wedding Peach nicht von einem billigen SM-Ripoff zu sprechen fällt schwer, auch hier gibt es eine Hand voll Mädels die aufgrund der drohenden Apokalypse besondere Kräfte erhalten oder die in ihnen schlummerenden Kräfte geweckt bekommen. Auch das Schema gleicht Sailor Moon wie ein Ei: In so gut wie jeder Episode taucht ein Bösewicht auf der dann mit Pauken und Trompeten zur Strecke gebracht wird bis es dann gegen Ende gegen den absoluten Obermotz zu kämpfen gillt. Und WP wäre kein SM-Nachahmer wenn er nicht die gleiche Krankheit hätte: Das Geschehen ist einfach zu vorhersehbar und man kann getrost alle Episode auslassen bis es zum Showdown kommt ohne wirklich was verpasst zu haben. Davon mal abgesehen ist dieser Anime der pure Kitsch und nur hartgesottenen SM Fans die sich mittlerweile an den Sailor-Senshis sattgesehen haben und mal was neues ausprobieren wollen zu empfehlen.

| People are always really hard on this series & it doesn't deserve it. Okay so yes it looks a lot like Sailormoon (naturally since the character designer was the same person), & yes the transformation & attacks are way overdone (as in all magical girls series) & yes it can be a bit corny BUT having watched the entire series & the OVA I have to say that the character's were all very likeable & interesting. The music & animation is good & I really enjoyed the story. It's not overly original but the series is *very* romantic (something Sailormoon lacks) and it's cute, happy, and funny. This is one of the ultimate magical girls series & a must for all fans of that genre. And if you've only made it through a few episodes then hang in a little longer, I thought the series got a lot better after about episode 12.
