| First off, I'm a fan of older anime so those who desire something new and shiny may not like Crusher Joe.
The animation is good quality, but dated as to be expected for something over 20 years old.
Sound & music were average; nothing spectacular but they served the purpose.
I expected a straight-forward "kill the bad guy, save the world" story, but the story was different enough to keep me interested throughout. The characters were nice, though not too memorable; I think this anime influenced the characters in cowboy bebop, as the 4-man crews of each are similar.
Overall, this was enjoyable anime to watch, I believe running about 2 and a half hours if im not mistaken. It's a bit simpler than many of todays movies, which can be good or bad depending on youre preference.
If you like older anime check this one out; if not, watch it anyway, just dont expect anything too fancy
