| New dominion Tank Police is half comedy and half action, it was pretty good but it was not a must seen.

| Well...I saw a AMV from the previous Dominion Tank Police and it seemed interesting. I only managed to see this thus far.
The animation and sound are good towards medium in this one. It's true, the anime is old(vintage: 12 years) so I really wasn't expecting much from it in these sections. The sound was a bit over average, with great music wich came in at the right time and place. It's old but since when did that matter in anime? I must say that Leona has a voice resembling Lina Inverse's from the Slayers franchise....and the same "ROTTEN" attitude. Fits like a glove.
The story is a major drawback. It's pretty usual for these kind of anime. Nothing really extraordianry happens and at times it's predictable. Of course there's the humor that's redeeming in this case. The comic bits in which bits of the city are blown to smithereens, or total disobedience towards orders (and common sense for that matter) bring a easy smile to the viewer's lips.
The characters are a fun bunch. I will particularly remember Brenten and Leona. Two characters wich actually stand out: Brenten is the cool commander who kinda tells the chief to shove it(in a matter of speaking); Leona is a rush character, steretypical to the brink of falling into the extreme. nonetheless...she is a great character in my opinion. Even if her basic pattern is predictable, she's used in quite a good way. Unfortunately, in this short OVA there is almost no character development. It's understandable since it's this short but still...they could've done a better job with the characters.
I enjoyed the anime to some extent. If I'll ever have time for a rewatch, I'll probably see it again...until then I'm satisfied with a one time view.
Oh...as a closure...the drawing style was very interesting for the tanks and characters. Very similar to vehicles from the Metal Slug games, the old drawing style brings some flavor to the anime now-a-days.

| This is great Anime just like The Orginal Dominion Tank Police (DTP) . It doesen't have the same special feel to it like the DTP have but it has a better Animation quality.

| This OVA is really nothing special. It is about some UGLY chick named Leona, with a tank fetish. Her tank Bonapart is the crappiest tank i've ever seen, the other tanks were much better. (this is not saying much). Overall an inferior series even for an OVA. If you want to know more read my review.

| This is a fairly enjoyable anime, but it seems like a few things are a bit off. My favorite thing about this series was the opening music. Great stuff. It has a healthy dose of comedy to it as well, which I found quite enjoyable.
Now the bad parts. There were some parts of the story that just made me feel like something was amiss. For one thing, the catgirl sisters were great characters, but there was no explanation of their background or how they came into existance. Also, the ending didn't really seem like an ending. I was expecting more after the final episode, and much to my surprise there wasn't.
Overall, it's a decent anime. Well...it's a decent anime with catgirls. That's about all you have to do to knock my opinion of an anime up a notch is add a catgirl or two. Rent it if you're looking for something different to watch.
