| Another weird magical item from a whole range of weird character of ranma pops up and their adventure ensues.
Everything this movie follows similar creation style of the series. Although the 'villain' in this series is a lot different than most from the series, it only makes this movie slightly more interesting than Ranma 1/2 the series (but only because this is short, compared to ranma series which feels long and drown out)
I don't really recommend this movie... its just a separate side story, with the same ranma humor. If you finished the series and want more, then i'd understand if you watched it. Not much romance between akane and ranma, not much of anything really...

| Not as good as the serie's, but not that bad either.
The Animation is done nicely, like the OAV's, but it's not something that stands out.
The sound also isn't that great, although there are some nice tunes in the OST. It's just good.
The Story is not so original.. I mean, Bad guy comes in, kidnappes the girl, hero goed to save her. It's been done many times.
The Characters are as solid as ever, as to expect from Ranma. The movie chars were good, but not great.
It's a movie you'll enjoy if you love Ranma, but it's also something that you could miss, since it not that great.

| This first Ranma movie was the better of the two. The story is about a magic scroll of two halfs, that the holders of the peices must marry for it to become whole. Akane somehow winds up with one piece and wackness ensues. This movie introduces a FUNNY main enemy in Kirin he seems serious but when he yells things out he is VERY funny. | This is the first Ranma movie that should be in the time frame of season 6. The animation is the same as season 6 but Ranma's old voice is back from the earlier seasons. The main villian is damn funny but his intentions are lame because alot of the Akane kidnapping gets old real fast. If you would like to see more of this review, please read on.

| This movie is pretty much a bad Ranma episode. It has nothing new or interesting to talk about. Some better visuals, the usual sound, and the good old "let's go save Akane" plot serve for some forgettable entertainment. I wouldn't recommend seeing it unless you're bored AND dying for some more Ranma. If you aren't then skip this trash and watch the great OVAs.

| A little something extra intended for Ranma fans only. I cant imagine anyone enjoying this if one hasnt seen the first couple seasons of Ranma 1/2 TV. Needless to say inspite of the weird comedic story this is very enjoyable. We finally see some more progression in Akane and Ranma's relationship, considering how this was set at the end of the sixth season its about time.
In true Ranma fashion we have more martial arts mayhem alongwith a little adventuring for our heroes when they make their way to China. The comedy is still great and animation impresses even now considering its age. Oh and no Ranma movie would be complete if there is no introduction of YET another fiance!
A watch for Ramna 1/2 TV fans as a newcomer would not get the most jokes and also get confused over the high number of characters.

| It's Ranma, so I can't help but enjoy this movie. It's pretty fun to watch, and it has it's great action moments. I just really wish they would have developed the battles at Seven Luck Mountain a little better. I mean Ranma and Lychee just breezed right by all of them, kinda left me wanting more exciting fight scenes (like letting Ryouga and Kuno fight like they did in movie 2, the cast of characters aside from Ranma and Akane never got any respect in this one.) You gotta watch it if you're a Ranma fan though.

| Dieser Movie ist nicht übel aber auch nicht mehr als eine längere Ranma Episode. Der Plot ist simpel und sehr voraussehbar aber so gut wie alle Charaktere des Ranma Universum sind dabei und sorgen in diesem Movie für viel Kurzweil.

| The first Ranma 1/2 movie is a fun hilarious and action-filled anime with many of the memorable characters from the series. I was quite pleased with the movie, especially it incorporated almost every character shown in the first three seasons.
Still Recommended for fun and laughs, and higly recommended for the Ranma fan
