| I watched only the first 5 episodes. I was also thinking to eject the DVD when I saw the animation and the horrible intro music. But many german words are used throughout this anime so that kept my interest and also the fact that it reminded me of the 80's series where a group of assasins fights crime whether it is the A-Team or Charlie's Angels.
Watch it only for this reason. Namely that the process of punishing the criminals has something of the 80's series and has some fun.
The character developement would also be interesting but just when it starts to go somewhere it collapses when the characters end in the flowershop after the end of each episode. 5 episodes are enough. If you have masochist tendencies you could watch all 26 episodes.

| The anime certainly had a lot of potential to it, but it is completely marred by its horrible production values. The animation looks like its been made in the 80s. The sound is sub par and nothing really stands out except the characters which keep the series alive by their internal struggles between good and evil, right and wrong etc. The action is very generic and plain. For some reason the Weiss team never really gets hit by bullets and some of the character interactions were painfully forced.
However, the series is still fairly enjoyable if you can look past the poor animation and forced dialogues. The interactions are nice and I am looking forward to the improvements I will see in the sequels. The characters are nice and the base story isn't too bad. So check it out for some mindless action with a lot of dramatic character interactions.

| A very entertaining anime with an intriguing storyline, great characters and fantastic music.
A must for any fan of bishounen, or dark characters.

| As most people might have noticed already, the animation is not very good. However, there aren't that many repeated scenes but the main drawback is that the people in the background never seem to move.
The character design kicks butt. Schuldig is my favorite character, and I was impressed by the drawing of all the other guys as well. The relationships between the people are sometimes complicated, but that's what's good about Weiss Kreuz - how nothing is clear until later on.
The ending was pretty weird. It was as if Weiss was not good enough to defeat Schwarz, so the building had to collapse. And it was never really explained whether Schwarz was really done for in the first place (I want them to come back!).
In my opinion, the bad guys were cooler than the good guys. Some of the good guys had bad attitudes and short fuses (like Ran, for an excellent example) and for some reason Omi really easily falls for Schuldig's mind tricks every time - too easily. Yohji just kept on believing that Asuka would return and he keeps on trusting Schreient as a result - kind of too trusting for an assassin. Ken, no comment, except that he is the memeber of Weiss who is most 'in character' most of the time.
What really rocked about this anime was the storyline. The baddies behind the scenes (Estet) don't become lucid until much later on in the series, whereupon the OTHER bad guys (Schwarz) suddenly change sides again (which is really cool by the way). Weiss Kreuz is worth watching, and the animation I must say is no drawback compared to the wonderful storyline that you will encounter along the way.

| A pretty interesting show.
The animation was very good until the end where the frames turned hella weird, and since I didn't like it THAT much i dicided not to give this full credit. The character designs are pretty good, there is definitely variety. A lot of blood and mutated things.
Nice songs, one of the stronger point of the anime.
The plot is pretty interesting. The stories are pretty interesting, its like you can't really think of people doing all these weird things.
The characters are well developed. Each episode is dedicated to their perspective on society.
Not all that addicting, but a good watch.

| I wanted to see this series just because everybody I knew had seen it and some had loved it. The first four episodes, I admit, impressed me. Yet when the story progressed, I was a tad disappointed. The cousin loving situation (between Omi and Oka) was a little weird, and the "censored" violence was somewhat overboard. At the end, I couldn't understand why I bothered to watch the entire series. Perhaps it could be that it was chock full of bishounen. I've seen a lot of great shounen shows, and unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

| I was just dying to get this anime. When I recieved it, I was slightly dissapointed by the lack of great animation. Other than that, this series kicks butt.

| This anime is VERY badly animated. They almost always use cheap tricks for the fighting scenes and there are absolutely no really memorable fighting sequences. The anime tries to play solely off of its nicely drawn characters. All the characters are just overly brooding and annoying. The manga is more interesting and with manga you expect a bunch of stills.

| I greatly enjoy this anime, its one of my favorates. The animation itself wasn't great, but one has to love it more for its characters, and the problems they face, and their various ways of dealing with them. The characters are all so unique and different, and yet the same... One can't help but fall in love with them. Each of them has an opposite in Schwarz, another band of assassins, under the employment of the Takatori family, who each seem to be the same as, and yet oh so different from their Weiss counter-parts. Nagi and Omi share the same childlike appearance, and their wonderful hacking abilities, while Schuldig and Yohji both give off that playful adult/playboy kind of attitude.
One of the other things I greatly enjoyed were the voices. Koyasu Takehito, Yuuki Hiro, Miki Shinichirou, and Seki Tomokazu are the voice cast of the four main characters, four absolutely wonderful voices. Koyasu's deep mysterious voice gives Aya a great sort of Oomph, and Yuuki-samas cute, soft voice gives Omi even more of an air of innocence. Seki-sama, the wonderful voice of Shuichi from Gravitation, and Kyo from Fruits Basket, is a GREAT way to liven up the already lively Ken, and Miki seems to have the seductive voice of Yohji down pat.
All in all, I think that despite the animation, this show is worth watching, for sure.

| Ah Weiß! The bishounen every girl love and all the rest want to see dead! xD Yeah eheh, in fact I really enjoyed these series apart from the bad animation, yes truly bad. The char design was ok sometimes and awful some other. The music was actually the only positive aspect all along the 25 eps! (Project Weiß pwnz) :) The story was nothing special, good old "guy gets family member injured/killed, guy seeks revenge". Well it works for me as long as it has good characters. ^^;
But what more can I say, I just adore these boys, so I want to se some more action. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Weiß Side B anime ;_; Hope it'll come out someday 'cause Glühen was below average compared to these series and the Ova.

| Here is a good title anime that not much ppl talk about. (Maybe because it has good looking guys intest of girls or something.) =P "this kinda tell you what kind of ppl watch anime.... =/ sigh...
Anyways, this is one title you anime nuts should check it out for its one of the best action anime out there. With a pretty good story and okay character development to back it up. The animation isn't the best it can be, but it looks good. I'm suprise the overall rating for this series wasn't higher than this, but like I said before, maybe because it has some good looking guys instead of girls. =P I don't know.... anyways....
I would recommand to cheack it out, afterall, its a good anime. =)

| i didnt like this because of the pretty boys(because im a guy myself), i liked this because of its story and darkness(although Gluhen is darker), i like dark animes like evangelion, etc. yes, most of the animation really stink, but they really look cool killing those criminals! I also liked the character's attitudes. But what really intrigues me is the "curse" of being a WeiB. If you like action, lovestory, comedy or mecha, then i suggest you find something else because this is a dark anime.
Well maybe there other reasons why there are people who like WeiB, but actually, there is really nothing new to expect from this series, which is exactly the point! WeiB wasnt originally an anime or a manga, but a radio drama, now lets keep that in mind, that in a radio drama, they dont sensationalize how good are the fighting styles since you cant see it anyway, but they focus more on the story and feelings of the characters, and that's what WeiB is all about. People complain about the animation, but anime is not all about good animation, i think the story is above anything else, and animation comes next, but WeiB is really just an ordinary anime and yet so famous in Japan? The seiyus are not that good-looking and yet they are a boy-band in Japan, successfully performing concerts and everything.

| I remember when I first found out about this anime and how much i wanted to see it. It sounded so cool with the story line and the good-looking guys. But looks aren't everything.
What really bugged me about Weiss Kreuz was the animation. The fight sceens are just so boring and there's no blood or gore shown. When you see someone being sliced, you expect to see blood spewing. It's impossible to take a sword though the chest and not have blood spewing from the wound.
The story is... oookay, i guess. It's kind of boring. I stopped watching after episode 14. I didn't see the point of watching anymore episodes.

| One of the worst animated works I've seen so far. If you watch very closely... The actions are dull and needs more frameworks. The animation of the characters are so lame, if you check when the characters are talking...if feels like a bunch of drawings put on screen with lots of camera works zooming in and out and scrolling left/right/up/down. What we usually see is the mouth moving but not the characters.
The plot was so boring and unimaginative. You feel like it's going nowhere. But since the animation and the story sucked so much, I enjoyed watching it and laughed a lot.

| A good anime. One of my favorite titles but its not number one though. The animation is a little poor. The nice songs make up for it. Also the outtakes on the dvds are the best no other anime has better outtakes.

| All the characters have dark pasts which are flushed out over the series. This is what keeps you coming back for more, not the fight scenes which are almost a bonus. Keep in mind that this is a depressing anime. Just when you dont think it could get any worse for a character (Omi) it does. But I like that stuff.

| Animation and sound are top notch. However art and sound aren't the only things that make an anime great. The story is stale as hell as is reminiscent of many older repetitive series with the same kill sequences that are played over and over every episode. The action scenes are almost nil. For example, a slice with Aya's blade will always be his slicing animation, than a flash of light = dead enemy. If you like good art and hollow story lines this anime is for you, otherwise i'd pass this up for something better.

| Everyone who rates this either just watches the first few episodes and expects that they know everything or thinks this is just aimed at girls who like hot and sexy guys and say its horrible immediately off the bat. Weiss Kreuz has a very deep character development and its a very good series. The animation lacks at times but nonetheless this anime is definitely worth watching and develops the characters better than any anime I have seen so far. Don't underestimate this series as a shoujo "for girls into hot guys" anime because it isn't it is much more deeper than that

| Four boys...very common story. Of course, if you like bishies these series are full (like tons others series). Nothing much new here. This series is a bunch of missions and lot of action cenes..some good some not. However the music is pretty good. At least the OVA is a little better ^^;
