| The best manga I have ever read!
The use of blood in the action seuences is beautiful and the gore is drawn on great detail. Weapons and costumes are also richly realized showing a lot of work went into the art. The charcters look great, especially the women. Facial are so expresive it is scary, notably the malicious glee Alucard exudes while killing.
The story evolves naturally with interesting plot twists and great dialogue. The set up of scenes and major events are perfectly established. Nothing seems to be forced or unneeded.
All of the charcters have intricate motivations that make them relatable to the reader. Their pasts are shown to explain how and why they all act like sociopaths.
I reiterate, the best manga I have ever read. Amazing in every aspect.

| Hellsing has been the top of my favourite manga list ever since I started reading it, which is approximately two years ago. It's full of gore, black humor, insanity and all that kind, and at first I thought that's all there is to it. Now when there are over 60 chapters, I have noticed how very wrong I was. The series has gotten deeper by a chapter, and there have been some unbelievable twists in the plot.
I warmly recommend this manga to anyone who likes vampires, action, big guns, cool and dark characters, plot twists that take you by surprise and, last but not the least, can stomach very detailed violence.

| Fantastic manga, thoroughly enjoying it. Illustration starts a little shaky, but grows notably more consistent and confident.

| One of the best mangas I have had the pleasure of reading, Hellsing combines comedy with dark themes like death and destruction to create a wonderful, almost insane, mood throughout the series.
The design is truly unique, and won't be found in any other anime. The lanky character designs of characters like Alucard and other vampires serves to accentuate their "evilness" and the eyes of the characters are very well drawn and showcase the moods of the characters. After reading this manga you will be well acquainted with Alucard's evil smile. Also, the action scenes are very seamlessly done and make for exciting reading.
The story is a very unique and modern take on the vampire genre, and contains lots of blood and gore, death and destruction, and many comedic scenes. From the very first chapter the mood of the series is set. Hellsing is truly a great manga, which, if you have seen the anime series, is much better than its anime counterpart.
The characters are all amazing; the slightly insane Alucard, the former police woman Seras, the tough and charismatic Integra Hellsing, and the quiet butler Walter. Even the side characters and villians like Alexander Anderson, Section XIII, and Millenium are very interesting; each of them insane in their own ways.
Growth and development is also apparent in this series; Seras particularly grows and adapts with her surroundings and deals with her new powers, while Integra becomes stronger and more willing to use force to achiece her goals. The one constant is the ancient Alucard, as unchanging as the age of his body.
This manga is well worth the read; while it is not finished yet, it is still truly entertaining to read. I consider it the best manga I have ever read. I have re-read this manga many a time and will continue to re-read it for a long time more.

| Having watched the anime I decided to read also the manga. It is described as the best Vampire manga available. To some extent this may be true but once you do a little research the are certainly better titles available. But in terms of design and action this makes an impact. Reached volume 10 already.
One of the best shounen/vampire titles I read.
