| After the dive Sailor Moon took with the previous season, "Sailor Moon R," this season brings back a little of the brilliance from the first season. It's still nowhere near as good, but it's an improvement. More Sailor Scouts are introduced, and the plot is the same way as ever. Once again, Sailor Moon must level up her abilities to fight the stronger enemies. And, to say the least, she does... so much that her attacks need extra flourish with mad pirouettes and an abundance of shiny pink hearts.
....
So, the attacks took a nosedive. Honestly, I didn't know whether it was funny or just plain stupid that Sailor Moon had to spin ten thousand times, yelling, "Moon Spiral Heart Attack!" as streams of hearts flew out to defeat the enemies. Whichever it was, it was a little painful to watch.
On a better note, the season's finale was great. Once again, it wasn't like the first season's ending, but it contained some pretty decent action (minus the hearts). By the end of it, Sailor Moon's increase in power seemed like something she had actually earned, for once. I got the impression that she was strong rather than hopelessly naive and lucky this time.
Take a look at this season. The new characters freshen up the story, so it's more fun to watch.

| And I had thought that "Venus love-me chain" was the most stupid attack name ever created... Well I was wrong, even love-me chain is nothing next to "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" and "Moon Spiral Heart Attack". Really, killing evil monsters with huge hearts is uncool enough, but them shouting "lovely" upon death is even worse. Seriously, the creators of this anime had a heart fetish, as the title screen where the episode name is displayed has 8 or something hearts alright, and all the attacks of Sailor Moon have something to do with hearts. :/
On the better note, monster-per-week episodes are more interesting this season, as they had actually learned to talk and we get introduced to a lot of new comedy elements from girls' life aswel.
If you liked previous seasons you'll probably like this one too. Main story arc isn't as interesting as previous ones, but some good comedy elements make up for that.

| Sailor Moon S was the first Sailor Moon series I saw. At first I avoided Sailor Moon because I thought it was girly. However as I watched I was laughing like crazy at all the funny-ass enemies. The story was also decent between the emergence of Sailor Saturn, and witches 5 the worst group of enemies ever.

| This season is for some the best. Well, it's only number 2 for me ( Stars being no.1 for sure ) but that isn't saying that it's bad. On the contrary, it's brilliant. Haruka and Michiru are among the coolest anime characters ever ( toped only by Seiya** Sorry! ) and Caolinite is mighty hot! If the story had a little bit more magic and a little bit less of filer episodes, it could have been a clear 10 out of 10.

| A really good season. For some even the best. Dr. Tomoe is an awesome villian and all those hilarious female helpers of his ( like Mimet)are genious. Othervise, much more of the same but in new style.
And style is something very important!

| The second best season of this popular anime. The charachters Haruka and Michiru are pure gold and give the story the required edge. The only confusing thing is the end, but that's a minor point.

| I really didn't like this series. Some of the stories just felt too repetitive on their part. The two new scouts who were included on this one weren't too bad as characters. And the concept was mildly interesting, but still went through a ongoing process of fighting with the more unusual villains with some of those wishy-washy attacks. But during one of those attacks with the violin musical background was quite catchy. Maybe it would've good if they just made this a little bit shorter on the whole scheme that it gave out. I'm guessing that this would be only good if you are really into the previous series.

| Sailor Moon S is my second favourite Sailor Moon season and probably the darkest of all the Sailor Moon stories, "S" is a wonderful continuation of the Sailor Moon story.

| “Pink Sugar Heart Attack!” “Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!” “Venus Love Me Chain!” Me: “Maaaaan, I so hope no one catches me watching this crap.” Whereas the first two seasons managed to escape the “this is too embarrassing to watch” tag, this third season, Sailor Moon S fails miserably. And yes, monsters screaming “Lovely!” while bursting into pink hearts does have something to do with it.

| And here it is, another SM season. Same characters, same storyline, different bad guys.
That-s one of the bad things about Sailor Moon. It doesn-t really inovate. It-s always the same, and it gets rather boring.

| A fun to watch anime with some klutzy comedy. I like the characters and they have there own motivation and there different approach to the problem. Plus there are alot of characters which makes this show have a good story especially with Hotaru Tomoe around. Animation is not bad, of course the fighting animation isn't that good, but besides fighting, it isn't to shabby. Please continue to read on if you want to see more of my opinion.

| The first fansub I watched. It felt great to have this series that hadnt been seen in the US before, and would be a whole year or so before it finally was. In many ways, this was the best of the franchise. I do know the last few episodes, and the climax, and Sailormoon's expression after the last fight are some of the series' highlights. The soundtrack was pretty much the same. It's been the same throughout the whole series actually. Uranus and Neptunes appearence included that great violin track that played during transformation though.

| The series is one of the best in the Sailor Moon saga. The outer scouts all get introduced except for Pluto who was seen in R. Neptune and Uranus breathed new life into the series and made it fresh again. Character wise they were very good, complex and touching. The other scouts also got their chance to shine. Thoughout this series I don't recall seeing an episode that felt like a filler or an afterthought. All the characters used were well developed. The animation goes up a fair bit in this as it becomes more consistent and the character design is pretty wacky for the monsters. The story is excellent. You truly get a sense that it is going somewhere here. It also has great value and enjoyment as the last episodes show the true potential of the director who went on to make the wonderful Utena series and movie. The art is brilliant in this and to a degree, one could see it just for that.

| I liked this season almost as much as I liked the first season. The introduction of several new characters, as well as a flashy return by Chibi-usa(Pink Sugar heart attack. Phenomenal. It even showed up in the Love Hina manga, randomly. Sarah attacked somebody with it). The season felt more continous than SM R did, since the story lasted the entire season, and it was a pretty good story. I loved the Sailor Saturn, Sailor of Ruin story. There's a lot to like about this season. It really returned my faith in the series.

| Ok, I can start too say: I have watched both the english and the japanese, lets just say that I got nightmares of the english one...
HOWEVER!
I think that you can not judge this anime for the awful english dub. Therefor I have only made this review based on the REAL and GOOD version: Japanese.
There are five(!!!) Seasons of this anime, and this is the second best (Howerver, Sailor Moon Sailor Stars IS better).
The Animation: is the thing that is a little to ugly, but still very pretty sometimes.
The Sound: the Seiyuu's is as good as ever. The Music is VERY good.
The Story: Realy Good.
The Character: The usual Characters is good, and there are three new Senshis too come in this series, with an original personality, each.
The Value: Buy, see, see, and see.
The Enjoyment: Good for Girls AND Boys, no special age too like this anime either. You simply just have too see it befor you judge it!

| Tja, die nächste Staffel von Sailor Moon und auch hier ist alles beim Alten, nichts hat sich geändert außer natürlich das neue Bösewichte auf den Plan treten und unsere Senshis neue Power erhalten um dem neuen Feind die Stirn bieten zu können. Ansonsten weiß wohl jeder der die vorangegangenen Staffeln gesehen hat was ihn auch in dieser Staffel erwartet: 80% Enemy-of-the-day-Fillerepisoden, 10% Charaktervorstellung + Entwicklung und 10% Story. Die bereits bekannten Charaktere bieten nichts Neues und auch die neuen sind größtenteils matt. Nur Hotaru konnte ich relativ lieb gewinnen und auch die Geschehnisse um ihre Person sind kurzzeitig recht interessant, das reicht natürlich nicht um die gesamte Staffel unterhaltsam zu gestalten und besonders das Wiederauftauchen von Nervensäge Chibiusa schlägt in der Kategorie “Charaktere“ negativ zu Buche. Ich kann diesen Satz im Zusammenhang mit Sailor Moon nur immer wieder wiederholen: Kennst du Einen, kennst du sie ALLE!

| An anime i've been watching since probably as early as 8 years of age since. Though i didnt know what the hell it was(i didnt know what anime was back then).
What i got to say though is that Sailor Moon brings back some memories. Back then it use to come in tv uncut and with all its violence, but then here in canada it comes out as a kiddy show. Like noone watches it and its pissing. Everyone thinks that sailor moon is like a power ranger-chick flick, but its not, if you watch the episodes with a keen eye like me (as long as its not in YTV canada and WBkids) youll notice very violent and often, umm...mild nudity from the bad demons and stuff. Sailor moon has its romance, its violence, its girls, but it fits females nomatter which way youre looking at it.
