I started this anime when it first came out at episode one and was hooked on the first series. I agree with a lot of the reviews previously, it seems to be that the plot is drawn out way too much. I want them to just get to the point at times but I am not going to argue, I keep coming back to watch it again and again. I think this anime is incredibly relaxing to watch, it's very mellow and the music really adds into that effect. I was told before that people could not really get into this anime because it was really slow with a ton of characters staring blankly at eachother for about 2 minutes of anime watching. Keep that in mind the next time you decide to watch a episode of this anime :P. I am excited for the third season to come out (hopefully soon) and i think this anime diserves a rather high score.

I stumbled across the anime Tsubasa Chronicles a little while ago, and completed both the first and second season in the matter of a week. While it was a great anime, with quite possibly one of the best OST's that I've seen in quite a while. The characters are quite funny to see interacting with each other, especially Fay (unfortunately we don't know how good a magician he is, since he almost never used magic in the entirety of the series).

Now for the bad parts. After 52 episodes, I'm left in shock at the ending. It concludes absolutely NOTHING! I watched the ending with utter disbelief as they leave it as wide open as a memory book, only without the precious knowledge. Enough about that, now for the story. It drags on for quite a bit, as it is always the same thing (I know, that was the whole point). They never tell you what really is happening to Syaron, they just leave it as one of the many questions pertaining to the series. After that, the animation was quite well done, and the fights were always interesting. I liked how Syaron started out at a martial artist (mostly self taught apparently) but ended up as one of the many talented swordsman in this anime.

Overall this anime was quite the find, and I'm glad I found it. The OST was so good that I ended up buying three of the CD's to listen to. I proudly add this as one of my top #10, with the hopes that it be fully completed.

I don't find this series particularly great yet I keep watching it, probably just to see a resolution or maybe just because I like the characters.

Animation: I keep saying this but I shall say this again. I have never liked BeeTrain's style which tends to drag the story and make everything slower paced than they are supposed to be. Noir and Madlax have been a snore fest for me, Tsubasa Chronicles although having a manga to backup, had almost the same pacing with characters wearing static expressions... I mean... they are even lazy to make livelier expressions?!!! And due to NHK restrictions, everything has been toned down. A little more blood and gore like X or as projected in the manga would have propelled this anime to a higher rating, how they tried to make it bloodless just seemed awkward

Sound: No one has complaints here, Kajiura's music continues to excel with some great tracks like Crying Alone and Aikoi, in fact, almost everyone would agree that it is the main factor that still keeps viewers interested. For this season I preferred the ending to the opening. The seiyuus gave the same pleasing performances.

Story: there were some arcs that were very good, like the Ashura arc, Kurogane's past and the Piffle arc. Some fillers were quite interesting too while some others like back to ChunHyang's world were just too repetitive. It is very apparant that they were trying to save the 2nd Syaoran bit as a climax for the 3rd season. Therefore as an intermediate bit for the Tsubasa series, this season didn't leave too strong of an impression, yet it did succeed to leave some questions and desire for the next season.

Character: Sakura does have a bit more development compared to the walking shell in the 1st season, although thanks to the rigid animation, the characters still give off a rather stony, lifeless feel. It may just be me but yes, compared to the other animated Clamp works, this seems too obvious.

I did still enjoy this series, thanks to the excellent music and my love to the Sakura+Syaoran pairing but still I can't help thinking this could be done a lot better.
If you are fond of the first season though you would like the second season. However it would be advisable not to read the manga first or you'd get very disappointed with how this anime turned out to be

The continuation of a very mediocre series continues to be mediocre. If it wasn't for the familiarity of all of these characters, I would not have watched this as far as I did. Despite the fact that we get to know more plot details and character background, the majority of this series is based on the episodic (well sometimes it spans a few episodes) nature of Find the feather and bring it back to Sakura. One thing that I did appreciate about this series more than the first season is that Sakura is no longer a lifeless doll and she finally brings some life into the group. But other than that everyone else is the same. Syoran is still his righteous bastard self. Kurogane is still his reluctant hero type. Fay is still his mischevious but dark self. We get to see more about the Dimensional Witch as well as those two mysterious people pulling the strings, but eh, Who cares?

Tsubasa Chronicle has some nice animation design and pretty colors. I really like CLAMP's style of characters, but sadly the amount of actual fluidity is really low. Much lower quality than most animes of recent years. The amount of panning and zooming is extremely excessive - to the point that this anime is just a colored version of the manga with some added voices and music. But still, I really like the character designs and therefore I guess overall in somehow balances out.

Overall, Tsubasa is the ultimate mediocre anime. There's nothing glaringly bad or annoying about it. It is just boring. But then there's nothing great about it - just some very basic and unspectacular straightforward adventure anime.

It's the second season of Tsubasa Chronicle, just like Tsubasa Chronicle season 1 it's about Time Traveling to get the main girl (which is a princess named Sakura) memories back. Anyway, the whole anime is a nice package, it concludes Drama, Comedy, Love. It's all there. The sounds are just lovely, the characters are plain great, and the animation is ok. It's nicely drawn, and sometimes even a little sad. I really love to recommend this Anime if you like a good concept with great characters.

This Anime is just great, watch it if you really enjoy Anime.

TRC S2 is actually the same story that you will get from S1 and its a prolong of it. Where you cannot just jump in to S2 directly without viewing S1 and this itself creates a problem where you need to have past knowledge of the anime to see it, but you can see it , though you might not enjoy it as much. For those who saw S1 and S2 together there is not much difference in the story. It is still the same as S1 and I am really not sure how long CLAMP wants to scatter all the feathers away. Thisseries could turn into a series longer than bleach if it keep using the same concept.

(Based on ~15 episodes, or at least until they past Kurogane's arc)

This is milking the fame in all its glory: CCS characters, long-limbed trademark designs, and some of the worst reasons called a plot to cash in on fans in a highly-sought time slot. I'm still wondering how this show has about 1/3 the download rate of both popular shounens Naruto and Bleach - most of these people are either fanboys-on-wagons or have newbie/noobie tastes as an excuse to be called an anime fan.

From what I can recall, Sakura is a cute and adorable character with clueless quirks and smile, while Syaoran is a shy and arrogant 10-year-old, both winding up together in a beautiful and non-complex story of 70 episodes. Now, in only 8 episode counts higher, they show a loser-resemblance with an unfitting never-give-up attitude grace upon a clueless princess whose charms were lost ever since she grew taller with longer limbs.

Not only does the yet-unrequited love fail to have the original charm, but the story to get there is pointlessly long, boring, and distasteful. When coming up with the idea of travelling between parallel worlds, there is no doubt that saving each world just serves as filler arcs and as an excuse to insert cameos for fanservice before the big event which seems to never come.

Speaking of the big event, have you ever got so excited in the beginning but then realize that the villains are actually couch potatoes? In every other episode, you get to see the villains sitting on their couches being potatoes as their roots make them stay firmly to the comfort of their living room. Their TV only has one channel - even without commercials, I couldn't bare the thought of having only one channel on my TV.

As for the action on the screen, there is almost no point in watching as you know they're going to win in whatever race or war they are in. As said, each world is a filler (canon or not), and since look-alike carryovers are nothing like the ones they met previously, all meaning is lost on all side characters as their only purpose is fanservice, nothing more.

Recently, the big villain was revealed (I think), but it took 26 episodes too long. Everything was pretty much a waste of time. This anime is a waste of time. Aside from a few interesting arcs, most are absolutely boring for anyone who has seen more minor series, reflecting that your taste is better than 90% of the people who call themselves "anime fans".

Ah yes. Tsubasa Chronicle is one of my favorite anime. You should already know that Sakura is trying to find her memories with the help of her childhood friend, Syaoran and some friends from other dimensions. If you haven't that's just sad. It was explained in the first two episodes of season one and every dimension they have traveled. At this point, Sakura has lots of her memories back and has become the enthusiastic girl she used to be. Of course, she still has no memories of Syaoran other than what they have now.

As the anime goes on, we learn more and more about each of the characters.

One last thing. There is a slight change in the character's appearance. It's irrelevant but still noticable. I guess they're growing up. After all, they have been searching for two years.

Personally I still love this and haven't noticed a decrease in quality. Finally you start to find out some things about the characters and we are getting more hints about a person who looks like Syoran. Boy I love all the characters and they just get better as you get to know them in this series.
I love the music wich gives it a mysterious feel.
I also love seeing all the "clamp" characters throughout this anime. It's like playing hide and seek. I'm like, ooh that character is chobits or that one is tomoya from card capter. It adds another demention to the anime. I just can't wait to see more.

What a crap show. It's amazing that its managed to be Pokemon in terms of dragging things on forever. To quote Monty Python: get on with it!

The worst thing about Tsubasa Chronicle 2 is that it drags the plot on, but has left its first season quality behind.

Shame on you, Tsubasa Chronicle, you were capable of so much more!
