| Well first I have to say that I would never expect an anime to have an introduction like this. I mean seriously. Who would have thought that you would get a sister as Christmas present. Not to mention that Santa is a female who looks like a drug dealer to me as well as riding a motorcycle.
The reason for the main character Haruma to have a sister all of a sudden is because he wished for it. The reason why he wished for it because he wanted a sister when he was a child. He also had a dream playing with her sister. However that dream comes to an end when his mother tells him that she cannot have another baby. So Haruma prays to God and that's where story begins.
Well Chokotto Sister is basically a harem story, except that there is only one or two girl that loves Haruma. Well there's his sister and the manager. For the characters in the series we basically have the same routine of a normal harem story. We have Makoto the booze girl, Chitose the clutz girl and one sided love girl as well, Choco the extremely dunce girl. Ayono the flower girl who is Haurma's love interest, however she is engaged. And we got job recruiter Tamami.
For Choco the main character she is really a hopeless girl. She will basically believe anything in anything. So she has her notebook that basically tells her how to survive. She also has no idea that she's being someone's girlfriend without realizing it nor would she care for that person in such way. Her age is unknown but she looks like 12 or 13. However as a 13 or 14 year old she has a 6 year old heart. Her character is just very boring to me though. Nothing funny happens except during Valentines Day. Well mostly what Haruma does to her. Chitose the manager loves Haruma, however her personality annoys me a lot. Nothing special except a very timid girl. Makoto is probably one of the best characters in this series. She brings the most energy also keeps me entertained in some way. Haruma is probably the only normal human being here, so that's a good thing. He cares for his sister, does part time jobs, and doesn't recognize love from anybody else.
There is something i found stupid when i watched this. There are stuff they censor. Yes that's nice and all, but they stopped censoring halfway the series. If they uncensor those why censor those from the early episodes?
Chocotto Sister is an anime that gets interesting at first, but then gets boring as the series goes on. It's just basically telling the new life of Haruma when he has a sister. After watching the first 2 episodes you could basically continue off any other episode and still grasp the situation. However the last 3 episode is necessary to watch since its important to the story. What surprised me the most in this anime was the last scene of the last episode.

| Chokotto Sister is the story of Kagowe Haruma. Years ago when he was five, his mother had a miscarriage. He wished to Santa for a younger sister. Now ninteen, Santa finds Haruma and grants him his wish, a twelve-year-old younger sister. Shortly thereafter, his landlady retires and gives the property to her granddaughter Chitose. Add to this two neighbors, fashion model and uninhibited girl Makoto and salaryman Kakeru, and you have a wonderful anime about growing up and finding yourself.

| Being the first to review this whole series I must warn you. This is extremely ecchi. I watched an edited version that covered a lot of the nudity but I can tell you there is tons of it! Second off concerning the ecchiness of the flick there are two girls that are like thirteen that it shows there stuff a lot. I mean don’t get me wrong a little fan fare is nice, but this is border line hentai.and I am not into little kids either. I would also think to classify this as a harem since the main character is around four girls most the time. OK with that on to the review.
The animation wasn't great. At times it was a bit choppy but still it did OK through the whole series. The style of the anime wasn't anything special for me. It was just average. I did like some of the character designs though which I will talk about later.
Sound in this one is hard to field, and let me tell you why. I liked the intro music... (notice that was past tense) They used the intro (it is also the closing music) several times in the series to do this cute dance. After about the 20th time hearing it I got turned off from it! Don't get me wrong it was a good song, just not that good! Other than that... honestly I don't remember any more music except that one and it is in my head dang it!!!!
OK here is the story in a nut shell. Kawagoe wishes he had a little sister when he was a little kid. He didn't get one. Now that he is in college he gets a sister from Santa (who is actually a hot chick who works for Santa) Enter main story. Kawagoe is also in love with a flower lady across the street from his place, but his manager of his apartments is in love with him. Funky love triangle. Also there is another girl, Ashirai who is just a drunk but she is funny. There is are a few interesting twists in the anime, but they resolve themselves quickly. There is also some nice character development but I will talk about that under characters. Over all the story could have been better, but it was still solid. It was very sweet and nice and you can't help but like Choko (the sister). There are some holes in the plot but eh what can you do right? I also felt there where a few fluff episodes that could have been taken out, but still the story was enjoyable with a nice ending.
Characters. OK I liked most of the main characters except for one Serikawa (the manager). She was odd and honestly I couldn't nail her down her personality, and honestly didn't care to. Choko had the innocent thing going for her, and Kawagoe was the nice guy big brother. Both decent characters but nothing too amazing. I really did like Ashirai a lot though and I also liked Sonozaki (flower shop lady). The designs of the characters were great except for the manager again. I didn’t like her glasses all that much and her character seemed like an older looking lady. (maybe because of the glasses.)
This isn’t the best anime around by far, but it was still solid. I am wondering why no one else has reviewed it all the way through besides me. I mean I have seen much worse that has been seen by many more people…. (Ghost in the Shell) It is nice and if you watch the edited version I think you will be OK unless you want to see little kids naked.
I enjoyed the show. It was easy and relaxing with a nice story. Some really memorable moments. Should you watch it? Sure it is good, just be warned.

| I've only watched eight episodes so far, and I totally love it. It's all a perv's dream. I mean, who wouldn't want a little sister?
