| Well, I thought I would post a few impressions about this series so far. This is based on only the first six episodes, so don’t put too much stock in it. This review is intended only for those who have seen the first season. If you haven`t, what are you waiting for - go watch that!
The sequel picks up where the last left off, and maintains the great production values from the first. The theme from the first is there, but the opening and ending songs are quite a bit worse, IMO, than the original’s. The animation is still very high quality, if a bit standard and unimaginative, and the voices are still excellent – maybe even better now that they have some experience playing their characters.
However, the main thing you’ll notice about the sequel is that it’s not funny anymore. The first H&C managed to strike a brilliant balance between comedy and seriousness that managed to create a touching and brilliant show. This one (nearly) totally forgoes the laughter (there’s usually one or two slightly funny things in an episode) in exchange for lots and lots of pain.
This series moves away from Takemoto, Hagu, and Morita, to focus on Yamada, and Mayama. I’ve always thought Takemoto was pretty boring, but he did make a good “anchor point” for the first series. Hagu, however, from the little we see of her, is NOT cute and funny anymore – she’s creepy and depressed. Morita is sorely missed, but when we do see him, he’s not that funny anymore, but we do get to see the other aspects of his character, which is definitely a good thing.
The other three, who take up the majority of the focus, fare a little better. Rika and Mayama’s relationship, in particular is very touching. I’m also glad we get to see more of Rika – she’s a very interesting character (she certainly doesn’t fall into any anime clichés), and only more so in the second season. However, Yamada’s undying crush on Mayama is getting tired. Here’s how it goes, pretty much every episode: she breaks down and cries for two minutes, or runs away or something, and the other architect guy (whose name I can never remember…) runs after her. Every. Episode. It’s presented well, but by episode 3, you’re getting bored of it, especially since we all saw it so much in the beginning.
Overall, as a fan of the first, I found this disappointing.the quality of writing has fallen, and it’s becoming repetitive. The story is developing, but not in any really unpredictable ways. There’s a lot to like here – but in my opinion it falls short of the brilliance of the first season.

| Honey and Clover 2 is an extension of the first part and since I watched them back to back, I have it cataloged in my mind as just one show with 38 episodes. I would also recommend to anyone interested in watching this show to do the same thing and watch both parts together, because the second part might seem a bit lame without the supplement of the first part.

| Honey and Clover 2 is a 12 episode anime released in 2006. It is the sequel to Honey and Clover, but unlike its predecessor, Honey and Clover 2 a romantic drama as opposed to a romantic comedy.
The quality of graphics and animation hasn't changed much from the original Honey and Clover. A number of character designs seem more mature, as expected, and the frequency of exaggerated scenes have declined, due to the change in genre.
The number of in episode songs have increased from the first season, and the quality of them have not diminished in the least. The ending theme also fits in better with the anime than the first season, and the voice acting has remained consistent.
Despite its shortened length, Honey and Clover 2 does not feel rushed, and covers plenty of events in a highly detailed and developed method like the first season. The storyline has taken a turn and is now a full romantic drama with a very limited amount of humour, if any. Some who enjoyed the first season might find Honey and Clover 2 to be too depressing, but the storyline concludes surprisingly well, albeit rather sad.
The cast of main characters in Honey and Clover 2 have remained the same as the first season, and a very small number of side characters are introduced. Being a drama, the characters reveal more emotion, enabling further development.
Honey and Clover 2 is no longer the emotional roller coaster that was Honey and Clover, which shifted from excellent comedy to tragedy in seconds. Instead, it has become a pure drama with an excellent storyline and music. Neverthless, although fans of the series who favour the romantic drama genre might love this sequel, fans who favour comedy might find it less entertaining, if not too tragic.

| I, Davindo, AKA Over 120 Anime Seen, say that Honey and Clover had high potential as a sequel, and followed in the previous anime’s footsteps while being slightly worse. To the anime’s credit, when it’s good, it’s good. It reaches very high moments when you are just absorbed in the moment. Also, I laughed at almost every bit of humor in this anime, the dog was especially hilarious to me. At the same time, my problem is that this anime was actually too long. The whole Morita arc with his father just put me to sleep, and its too bad, because Morita to me was by far the most engaging character in the series. It was just well, boring, and it took up a lot of episodes. I was fine with the rest of the series, it did not end very climactically or how you would like, but w/e, its suitable. Also, they had sad background music in almost every episode, which I think took a little edge away from the really powerful moments, the previous series did a better job of using it. Basically, this is pretty good closure from the first anime, continuing a lot of the good parts, but not reaching the highest level, the previous series sometimes achieved.

| Honey and Clover II is one of the best animes I've seen. It is certainly one of those series that would stay in your memory for a long period of time. And it did a good job in living up to the high expectations of viewers who watched the first series. It has a lot more tear jerking scenes that would surely break your heart.

| Just reviewed season 1. That was wretched; this one was a lil better. Whole 1st season seemed to be a big, drawn out introduction. Here there is some plot and conflicts and whatnot. I still disliked it overall. I wouldn't say I hated it like season 1, but it's not a series worth watching IMO. You do need to watch the 1st season to understand this one, I think. Maybe not, not sure.
I'll try to get into specifics in the fields. My recommendation though is to avoid both seasons of this and watch other fun series. This is not entertainment. This is artistic crap and that is why it will never be a big moneymaker like Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, etc. Guys you'll regret delving into this; girls who knows, maybe you will like it and that is why guys cannot comprehend you all.

| THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS REGARDING THE ORIGINAL HONEY AND CLOVER SERIES. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The problem with sequels is that they have to live up with to the expectation of the prequel. And thus, this series has its work cut out for it. It has been already regarded that HnC was an excellent shoujo with characters that form an assortment of some of the very best character artists ever. So how does this 12 episode fair against the predecessor? To say that it as good would not be correct. HnCII kicks off exactly where the 24th episode left. Takemoto returns from his self-searching trip and confesses to Hagu.
The first episode is a recap which as far as I was concerned was a good thing. I had forgotten many fine points about the series. Then the story kicks of at full blast. This time around, comedy is sidelined to much needed character devlopement. The story in HnC was two fold - the first was the Takemoto-Hagu-Morita triangle. The second was the Rika-Ayu-Mayama-Nomiya square. By giving almost equal time to both in the earlier series the situation was left at a stalemate. This series takes them up again, however covering them exclusively. Thus Mayama and Hagu almost never appear together in this series. While this is minor issue, it does make the series seem a bit disjoint. It must be stressed that both the 'arcs' (if I may be allowed to use the term) are dealt with a finesse that left me awestruck. Each episode has its moments which make HnCII stand out as some of the best shoujo I have ever seen. As an eg. in the 2nd epsidoe hiccups (yes, hiccups) are used to illustrate how much a character can care for one other. Not many series can do this!
The characters are potrayed brilliantly. Each character is giving a breathing space and is developed with fellow characters. Take Morita for example - the joker of the previous series. Here we get to see a side which was not revelaed much earlier. He and Kaoru's past (who was just introduced in HnC) is done in a manner which will put many drama series (anime and non-anime) to shame. Even Hagu (who was just a cute character unti the last series) is given a serious side which binds the viewer leaving him spellbound. With pathos taking the lead, HnCII will most definitely remembered for such moments. The relationships grow as the series progresses which waill making a drama enthuiast teary and smile at various points of the story.
So is there anything in this anime which makes it flawed in any manner whatsoever? Sadly, yes. While I have not the entire series (seen only to episode 9, skipped 10 and 11), I have read what happens in episode 10 and 11. And I just cant agree with the outcome. It is a dillema which shoujo writer often has to face - how to deal with characters developed to such perfection, who are put in such insolvable binds of relationships. It is not an easy task to handle. A triangle relationship itself is very hard to be properly resolved. The writer of HnC would have a big headcahe on how to resolve the characters. While the path taken ny the manga-ka to resolve the Rika-Ayu-Mayama-Nomiya problem was done proplerly, the Hagu triangle just leaves a bitter pill in the mouth. And it ends there at the 12th episode. Making me sigh....
Do I like HnC? Most definitely. If there is a series that I'll remember in my days of watching anime this will be the one of the best ever. (Along with NTHT, Infinite Ryvius and Monster). While I may not agree with the outcome of the triangle, the journey of following these 5 people enthralled me to no end. The last episode makes it clear that the journey of these college students will continue. But their time together has ended. And so has out time to view the series.
It was an ending which made many people cry foul. And rightly so - the series has once again left an ending which is open to future seasons. The relationship of the brothers can do with another 3-4 episodes. Same is the case with Rika-Mayama, Ayu-Nomiya, and the triangle. The story undeniably has been cut short. To say that everyone drifts apart would not satisfy many people and the mangaka herself is open to a side story. But for now - all I can do is rewatch the series. And recommend this great work to you.

| i think i'm in love. never have i ever seen an anime thats given me this kind of emotion.
honey and clover II really isn't a sequel or anything. its more like a continuation of the first honey and clover. the meaningful lessons and powerful emotions stay the same; however, because it is a little bit more dramatic this time, the ending hit me like a bow and arrow to the chest.
animation has gotten even better than the first. i was appalled really at how beautiful everything looked. the sound also always, like the original, fit perfectly into the situations and environments.
the story and character is perfect. i've honestly never seen a more awesome story and character setting. the anime was so deep, that i felt at the age of 20, that even i could've missed many of its themes that i'd have to be even older to understand. the depth and revelationary stance of everything simply blew me away.
honey and clover II finishes what honey and clover I started in a flawless manner. all the characters that weren't developed before were developed in this half of the series.
in terms of enjoyment, i think i've already portrayed my opinion. never have i been so CONVINCED by an anime of this genre. the reason is because there is 0 filler. also the themes and meanings from the plotlines are so authentic and real that you can't help but feel for every episode.
for those whole like the 'slice of life, romance, deep' type animes, you'd better watch honey and clover I and II or you're seriously missing out. hands down the best anime i've ever seen up to this date. even better than elfen lied by a margin.

| The thing about sequels is that everyone who's watched the original has high expectations of them, it's too short, it doesn't conclude yet, or the animators did the series too early. H+CII falls with the last problem: there never should have been a H+CII. Continuity is the only problem with this series - this should have been a 38-episode epic instead of two distinct seasons (even though they are technically distinct in events, mood, and conclusion).
In this second season, all the other characters who are not named Takemoto get covered either started to be or even more. Morita, the running gag of the last season, is probably the most developed character because of the constraint of the episodes. Hagu's artistic views and life are explored to the very core here, too. The two least developed this season are Mayama and Ayu - they pretty much finished it last season, so most of the time they're shown offscreen. And not to say that "forbidden love" is forbidden - the series ends bittersweet, with Hagu's decision as well as the final scene (ah! no wonder it's named 'Honey and Clover'!).
And thus ends the journeys of our now-experienced college-students! Whether it be love, careers, tragedies, and enlightment wanderings, don't miss out on the second (and final) season of Honey and Clover!

| H&C II... continuing from H&C, concentrates more on human relationships and dramas, less on humour and what an incredible job it has done. While H&C has never been really a hilarious anime, but I had always like its sudden jokes which lighten the heavy dramatic moods in the anime. This time, there are still jokes interspersed here and there but not to the degree of season 1. Alot more thought provoking moments and charged up emotional scenes are introduced in H&C II.
I haven't had such strong emotional stirrups from an anime series for a quite a while. Partly probably coz I was out of college just not too long ago and I can still feel the pressure of stepping into the working world and missing my old friends. I agree with an earlier reviewer isokana that the feelings you get from this anime is something that you cannot fully describe in words.
H&C II is just so strong in creating moods and bringing out emotions that it is wrong to not classify it as a piece of art. In fact, art is the love of the characters in this anime. H&C II together with H&C is a must watch for anyone mature enough to understand the hardships of life and relationships. Truly, a gem.

| Yet Another Splendid Anime Produced in 2006. Even Better, It's the Sequel to One of My Favourite Animes of All Times, Honey & Clover...
Animation has Gotten even Better. I Guess the Animation has improved and Looks Even Nicer than before because of the More Advanced Animation Equipment & Knowledge in the year 2006. Smooth, Clean, & Eye-Catching, & Communicating its Emotions Through to the Viewer at its Best...
The Sounds aren't a Disappointment & I Still Love the Soundtracks, Themes & Insert Songs. With Yuki, Suneo Hair, Spitz, Suga Shikao Bringing you Even More Enchanting Melodies Through this Wonderful Anime.
In this Sequel, the Story & Characters have Progressed & Developed Even MoRE... We see Everyone having to Seperate from their Happy Lives Together before, We See Everyone Changing Slowly, Growing & Characters Developing Even More than Honey & Clover...
I admit, that the Comedy has decreased, & Even More Drama is Put into this Anime. We see Pain, Physically & Mentally, in Every Character. We see their Friendships Grow, & Love.
Maybe it would have a bigger Effect on Me if I was a College or University Student. But none-the-less, Honey & Clover II Proves itself to be One of the Best Animes Ever, Bringing Some Comedy & Tears to the Viewer.
I Would Certainly Love it if this Anime had lasted Longer, like maybe up to 24 episodes like the First season. Because I thought that, 12 Episodes is Just TOO LITTLE For Such a Good Thing.
It's sad that this is the Finale of Honey & Clover. Such a Magnificent Creation, Truly Beautiful, I wanted more of this... But the Series has ended sadly... T_T
I Definitely Enjoyed Honey & Clover II, picking up from where the First Season left. It has Advanced & Progressed Even More, with Climaxes that Might Happen in Real Life. The Event that Happened to Hagu in this Season is being Shown that this Could happen in Reality, & it Could Happen to Anyone. Unlike Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, the Accident seems very Out-of-the-World. What Happened to Hagu would also seem out of the world. But Honey & Clover II somehow Communicated the Idea through that it was Quite Realistic & Could HAPPEN in Reality. That was One Significant Aspect of Honey & Clover II which I Found Different & Amazing.
Yet Another Fantastic Anime being Produced in the year 2006, Honey & Clover II Proves Itself to be Another Great Anime, and No Worse than its First Season... =)

| *sigh* It ended. It's been over three years since I had this kind of feeling when an anime series ended. Then it was Azumanga Daioh, now it's Honey & Clover.
Honey & Clover has one advantage over any other anime series I've watched. It tells of people in same situation as I am. People who are just graduating from college and thinking very hard what do with themselves. This is what Honey & Clover II is about: people deciding what is important to them. During the very many conversations and inner monologues the characters ponder upon what they should do, what they can do and what they want to do. The king of this art for me is Takemoto. I've never encountered an anime character would think so much like me. It was magical to think one thing and suddenly have Takemoto come to same conclusion few seconds later. His growth process is presented in very detailed way and makes him very much alive. That is not to say every one of H&C's characters would be any less. Their reactions to love and hardships they encounter are very realistic and make them very much alive. The best example of the power H&C is Morita's brother Kaoru, who did onely get a couple of scenes in the first series. His character and motivations are revealed in one episode and with only that he becomes as much a person as every other main character who've been around for one 24 episode series already. Coupled with Kaoru is the development of Morita. Finally we get good view on him and his mysterious ways.
As it's a short leap from Morita to the two romances going on, it's interesting to notice that the triangles of the first series become squares in this series. And they work so well. The Hagu situation may first appear as a regular reverse harem where the heroine has to choose from three knights, it suddenly becomes something very else and even the knights must think can they help Hagu and is it worth it. The decions characters have to make are painful but still as the series ends, it's also clear that they are the right ones. Life is bittersweet as they say. The situation around Yamada is a bit different as there is nothing to choose from. It wasn't really under the question who loved who there but as a new (although foreshadowed) character comes into play, the question becomes can Yamada finally let go of her unfruithful love. In the first episodes the relationship between Rika and Mayama gets a fair dose of exposure. There some incredibly intensive scenes there that will make you swallow hard. Slightly less realistic than other romance, this one is still very believable and packs a lot passion and sadness. It was just amazing how one line and look from Rika could make me feel so scared. Or a matter of seeing a few second flash of blood and glass later in the series. Worst cliffhanger ever.
The story picks up from where H&C left it. In twelve episodes there's a huge amount of dramatic events that shake everyone's life in the series so that the series felt like full 26 episodes. If you thought they squeezed everything out of the characters in the first series, you're wrong. The best part is that anything that happens in the series could happen as well in real life to any person. Compared to the first series the amount of humor is lowered and it's replaced by drama. Anyhow there's still a lot hilarious scenes as the unicorns guarding Yamada. Dullness is one word that I could never attach to H&C. As for the ending... wow, I was speechless. Honey & Clover indeed. The ending is still open especially with Yamada' and Rika's situation but there's a clear indication that everyone has found a direction to go, at least for a little while.
From animation the most notable thing is that Hagu's design has changed to a more adult look. She's still small and cute but she doesn't appear like a child anymore. Otherwise H&C II is solid quality. The animation looks good and the character designs are distinctive and special. The hugely appropriate opening and ending songs are accompanied by even more appropriate insert songs that start to play when each episode reaches it high point. Listening to these songs afterwards just fills my heart with yearning to see the series again. For other times quiet background music, soulful voice actors or contemplative silence are filling the air.
Looking back this review I find it sorely lacking. There's no way I can express with words (especially in English) all the feelings I went through watching Honey & Clover. I should note that you have to watch the first series first. The first episode basically recaps the first series but it isn't enough to grasp these deep characters, their development and complex relationships. Another note to those who are about to graduate from whatever school and are even a bit unsure of moving to work life: watch this show first season included. It helped me to sort out of my thoughts a great deal. To everyone else: you watch it too. It's a rare moment to meet such real characters in anime.
BTW. I'm going to raise my score of the first series to full 10 too, because these seasons from a complete story that shouldn't be taken apart.
BTW2. No license to either the anime or the manga. In what kind of a world are we living in?

| After absorbing a particularly enthralling anime, I like to take some time off to digest everything. After finishing H&C II mere minutes ago, however, I simply cannot wait before lapsing into fanboyish glee. This review will be tainted with unfettered bias due to the pure euphoria I'm feeling at this moment.
Simply put: if you can't appreciate the masterful execution of H&C, you fail at life.

| When I heard that the characters of Honey and Clover were going to take the stage again, I had the simultaneous urge to give a standing ovation and hide in a corner. I couldn’t wait to see what life had in store for Mayama, Ayu, Hagu, Morita and Takemoto. On the other hand, if this sequel and conclusion to the series bombed, I’d be devastated. Thank goodness H&C II doesn’t disappoint.
Honey and Clover still has the ability to suck you into its characters’ lives. Watching H&C II is like being reacquainted with friends you haven’t seen in a long time. At the core, they are still the same people but they’ve grown and matured since you’ve last seen them. This, more than anything else, impressed me about the second season. The viewer is not jumping back into the show at the same point that they left off. The characters didn’t stop living after you stopped watching.

| Fans of Honey and Clover rejoice for Honey and Clover II does good enough job to live up to its predecessor. Honey and Clover last year was my vote for the best anime of 2005 and this anime does enough to clearly establish itself as a worth sequel.
It is rare to find an anime series that is very genuinely funny, touching, sad, and deep at the same time. Honey and Clover is like that. Story of these characters are relatable and very sincere. They are understandable yet there something to it that make our emotions go wild. With a combination of deep insight, comedy, drama, angst this series truly will be talked about for very long time to come.
The story continue from the series one. What surprise me at first was the sequences of it. It first explicates Mayama and Rika's relationship, then get into Morita and his past. Finally the story of Hagu is painted in front of us. At the end of the first season things were left open, but I thought I was sure than Hagu like Takemoto. But NO~~~ the creators noe create a 3 way rivalry between Takemoto, Morita, and (????) to spice up the angst a little bit. Mayama turn very creepy eventually as his love becomes an obsession. Story of Yamada is rather portrayed well too.
I have to say that the storyline was a big suprise for me. and surpprise is a good thing. It keep you watching and keep things fresh. One thing I did not like however was that Takemoto really get snubbed under the whole storyline. His role is minor at best. I thought he was the best character in honey and clover one, and I did expect to see lot more of him here as well. I was let down however...
Except for that minor flaw, HaC II does everything right by finally revealing Morita's motivation, Mayama's obsession, Yamada's love sickness, and relationship between Hagu-chan and art in which Shuu-chan is an inseparable part of. The story telling is done almost flawlessly with relaxed pace and much graceful animation. Even more so that HaC I, HaCII puts huge emphasis on mood as Suneohair's music lights up the scenes every time with there insightful lyrics and beautiful melody.
What then is the purpose of HaC II? HaC II is made to expund on character development and to bring about the conclusion of the love relationship between Hagu and the men. HaC II clearly from the beginning started out with a limited purpose and does its job well. In this, I think you can actually included Takemoto's journey in HaC into the HaC II. I think this really divided the whole HaC I& II into two main sections - General story arc & character development arc.
Fans of Honey and Clover should definetely watch this one. By no mean does this anime try to give all-conclusive finish. In fact I think the ending is very open ended in some ways. But when was life ever that conclusive? Honey Clover in whole is depiction of life. Just enjoy the sincere emotions of the character and I think you will have a very special experience you will never have watching animes.

| H&C II is continuation of where season 1 left off, the relationship between ayu, mayama and rika continue, nomiya starts to open up to rika, hagu struggles to find the purpose of her life, you find out why morita works so much and why he has so much money all the time and etc.
after finishin watching the compelete season, this anime is truly a masterpiece.
this anime is really befitting of a "slice of life" its a anime that everyone can relate to in one way or another, friendship, love, be it failed, unrequitted or just love, school life, everyday problems and stress that people face when they face the world. it just covers so much ground thats its unbelievable, the animation is the best as always, and the sound, oh my god i love it, the songs and the way there introduce into each episode is so fitting and nothing is done uncessarily, i was moved to tears almost every episode, just a wonderful anime, its a shame a 10 is the max i can give it cause it deserves more!

| From last year's anime which received 10/10 from me, it was going to be tough to make a sequel and match it in terms of visuals/audio/story-telling/character development/entertainment etc.. and in many respects, Honey and Clover 2 (HnC2) matches the first series just as well.
Granted, this short 13 episode TV series is just a mini-season compared with the uber greatness of the first season, im that, the exact same style and compposure are used, what with the characters ongoing development that is more true to life than most anime shows, and with the same art style and similar OST which gets the series moving along in a swift pace. This is a mini-me of the first season in self-respects..
.. Which is not a bad thing since i loved the first season so much because of reasons i explained i above. But, its hard to say this but this season's flaws are really on the (necessary) flashback episode at the beginning, the somewhat decidely short length of the series and theres that hunger of wanting more despite a decent closure to the end of the anime.
Did i just say closure? Despite the first season's open-endedness of the story, the second season decidely have gone more progressive on the relationships and stuff and it acheives that with a fanfare, and STILL, these closed stories still leads to questions on whether its either right or wrong, how your actions affect other people, etc.. this is still a life-symbolic anime with a lot to love and a lot to think about.
HnC2 is a great show, both series, if you want to learn more about philosophy and more about different challenges in life. HnC2 can shed some light in the whole subject and also makes you think about it yourself. Intellectual and entertaining, HnC2 is definetely one of the best anime seires you will ever see!
Overall: 9.5/10
Grade: A+
Reference: HnC got 10/10 from me, i just had to give this one a lower mark.. slightly.

| Honey & Clover 2 continues where season 1 left off. Alot of major story changes take place in this season.
Animation quality remains the same, which are nicely done.
Music is one of H&C's strongest points, it adds in rather sentimental tunes during emotional moments of the show and makes use of the OP's tune also. The ED is my favourite.
Storywise, H&C 2 lifts off from wacky and comedic, to mature and realistic. It isn't as positive as the first, but because it tries to wrap up where the 1st season ended, expect alot of drama and emotional moments. Still it doesn't fail to live up to expectations of a complete storyline, with alot of character background thrown in.
Characters are basically the same. But viewers are taken into the lives of the characters, as they struggle to fufill their dreams, and at the same time cope with failure.
I liked how each character was given ample screen time. Which concludes the Mayama-Rika-Yamada love triangle part and the one with Morita-Takemoto-Hagu. Personally, I didn't expect H&C 2 to be so melancholic in most parts, partly because season 1 was fun and wacky. But towards the end I realised that it wrapped up this wonderful series nicely.
Overall you have to watch season 1 first before watching this, if not you will probably diss it as crap. Definitely one of the best series ever.

| Kudos to the best love story anime post Fruits basket! The sequel to H&C surely lives up to its name and its more serious this time with finishing what was not finished in the first season. You must see the first season to appreciate/understand this anime.

| I just felt like balancing out the fact that one of the previous reviewers had rated fairly low based on 2 episodes.
Understandably, using an episode for a recap in a 13-episode season can be quite upsetting, but to give the story a 0, without mentioning any intention to update the review at the end of the season, is just ridiculous.
This is a great continuation of the previous season, albeit a short one. I just finished watching episode 9, and I must say that this anime has really delivered. There are still a few more episodes left for them to mess things up, but thus far, the execution has been perfect IMHO.
Go watch this series (start from season 1).
