| Tokyo Majin uses the tried and true formula of starting in the middle of all the action and withholding vital information to keep viewers interested. This works for the first seven or so episodes since bits and pieces of the back story are slowly revealed but once I got the general gist of the plot, I quickly lost interest as the story lost its initial momentum.

| This series started out really great with decent amount of action and good character interaction. It really has a lot of potential but sadly they blew it a the latter part of the series. The animation quality decrease as the series progress . Even so, i really enjoyed this series and i am very interested int the character in this series especially hiyuu. There still a season 2 to come maybe they do a better job in storytelling next season .

| Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kempucho is a great anime! Although it focuses heavily on Supernatural genre it has something unique to it. There are a few moment of comedy. The story is not one in which I've seen before, there are a few flaws with the characters but overall they were great. There were impressive fighting scenes. Some episodes were emotional. Sadly there's only 14 episodes. But I've heard theres a second season.
The animation style of Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho is actually what I'd expect from a 2007 anime. The fighting scenes were great and kept me at the edge of my seat. Since Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho focuses mainly on the supernatural, you'd expect demons, zombies, ghost, etc...the animation of such were impressive. A few scenes may show alot of blood, and some scenes are kinda scary but I found this to be one of the best things about Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho.
The opening and ending themes were great!. Espeacially the opening which was catchy. The voice actors did great, no complains here.
I have'nt really seen much anime which focuses heavily on the Supernatural genre. But I have to say I've become quite interested in this genre after seeing Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kempucho. The brief summary of the story is:
In Tokyo ther have been mysterious events happening from demons appearing to the death of many people. One day 5 teens came upon an old house and there they recieve supernatural powers.
*The first episode might throw you off a bit seeing as everything happens so fast...You might just say "What The hell"...but after seeing the second episode everything is explained and the story continues from there.
The characters were both negative and positive. Negative because I didn't really notice much character development, but then again theres only 14 epsiodes. You learn more about the enemies background then the main characters, but later on after a few episodes...or the last...you learn about the main character which may keep you wondering but fortunately theres a second season.
I loved each character in Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kempucho...each character has different traits, personalities and powers;
*Tatsuma Hiyuu- is the new kid in school, he is considered a deliquent seeing as he's always fighting. He is one of the strongest members in the group.
*Kyouichi Horaiji-also known as a deliquent, he is also seen as a hot head mostly only caring about having a good opponent to fight, which may be why he's always carrying a bokuto with him, his power comes from his bokuto...but he does have a good side to him.
*Aoi Misato-a rich girl, also student council president of the school. She seems to care deeply for her friends never wanting them to get hurt, she always wants to protect/save people even if they are enemies. At first she only has defensive powers but later on in the series it is revealed that she has an even stronger power. She has a dark past.
*Komaki Sakurai-Captain of the Kyudo Club and Aoi's best friend. She's always seen defending Aoi. She is an expert at Kyudo and shows much strength.
*Yuuya Daigo-Captain of the Wrestling Club and an excellent cook. After being inflicted with powers he has greater strength and battles hand-to hand.
I find all these characters great, they all join forces to defend their town and people. The other characters also help bring forth the enjoyment of Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kempucho.
I enjoyed watching Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kempucho, it might be one of the best animes of 2007. Many people dont know about it but in time they will. I highly recommend it! Espeacially if your into the Supernatural genre. This is definetly something I may watch again.

| It's horror, it's action it's superpowers. Well the horror part is kinda disappointing. I don't care what kind of fancy names Tokyo Majin Gakuen comes up with, I know a lame zombie when I see one. Same goes for not-scary demons. Superpowers were given away three months before 'it all began' and our heroes were among the lucky recepients. Knowledge of how to handle aforementioned powers were included. Action there is galore. Some
episodes seem to subsist on nothing else. Characters certainly look and sound good, and the Animation and Sound are well up to 2007 standards. Not much in the way of
development though. Being the superpowered good guys "who fight for the people of this town", will have to do. Beyond the clouds of evil, and relentless monster bashing marathons, there is the silver lining of a story. Something about zapping everything evil to protect "the people of this town". I did appreciate the Buddhist/Mythology stuff in Tokyo Majin Gakuen. Wish it would have had more of an influence on what I was actually seeing.
