| Kaze no Stigma. I thought it looked cool by looking at the picture in animenfo. But it was so-so. Interesting but not great i suppose. The first episode was what got my attention at first. I'm like hey nice animation pretty good sound and okay voice actors. However the story is a little strange. Yes I'm disowned by my own family. Everyone hates me because i can't use my fire powers. Nope. Ha you fools i've come back with wind power. And i'm more powerful than you. That's my interpretation of the towards the beginning of the series. Oh my god! My brother died! It's his fault its Kazuma's fault. He uses wind magic and wants revenge. I'm like oh well I can interpret what's going to happen next. And i was right. Not to thrilling on how they did it.
Yes let's kill our own son who kills our kin. However he didn't kill them but yeah they don't care.
Yeah i guess they had a good start with the series. But after that it just fell apart. I mean sound didn't satisfy me that much. Didn't go well into most of the scenes. Next of voice actors. Hey pretty good except for that one boy. Kannagi Ren. Girlish voice. Well i think it was girlish. Yeah other animes do a good job with male character with female voice or somewhat. This one didn't fit to my taste. Personalities for the character next. Well i guess this is what keeps the anime alive. Childish brother. Hot headed girl Ayano. And just Kazuma. Yup just being himself cool, carefree. Now what really was a disappointment about Kaze no Stigma was the fighting. Let me just stand and just swing my arms and fight. Well that's how most of the fighting was. Not much action going on here. Well at least there was more action towards the end. And towards the end, boy did the show get intense all of a sudden. However I didn't like it. Okay umm. Click yes or no if you want powers or not. Weird.
Well what kept me entertained was probably mostly the comedy section of this anime. Ayano yes the hotheaded girl is probably the most comical person. Her affection towards Kazuma is what makes it funny. Well how Kazuma responds to what she does is funny. The animation was good. Each scene was connected well with the animation.
Okay well Kaze no Stigma was fairly good. Some good parts and bad parts. Its got lots of magic though i suppose.

| When I first read about this anime, I was a little skeptical at first. It appeared to be one of the many anime that falls into the action/magic/comedy with a small serving of romance on the side. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending upon your own opinion, it did fall smack into the middle of this group. Thankfully, it was surprisingly fresh and definately added value to this very popular genre. If you are looking for an anime that has a good mix of action, magic, humor, and some light romance on the side, Kaze no Stigma is definately a good choice!

| A very average anime. The animation was quite good but the music was not very memorable. At first the story seems intriguing; an outkast son coming back to what seems like a plan for vengence on his family, but then it goes downhill from there.
The characters were typical with a good looking cool main guy (Kazuma) and an annoying princess type (Ayano). There wasn't much development in any of the characters who for me became very boring characters towards the end. Not really an anime that I would recommend.

| For a Gonzo anime, this is one of their best. For everything else, Kaze no Stigma is kinda tame. It is enjoyable, but only as much as a bland anime can get.

| Kaze no Stigma is as decidedly average a series as I've come across in a while.
The plot is plain, and buffeted by characters who might be more than mildly interesting if it were possible to care for them. The problem here seems to be that the anime focuses on developing neither its story nor its characters with a whole lot of depth, instead remaining unfocused and so only superficially interesting throughout.
It's moderately enjoyable and so somewhat worth watching, but not an anime I'd enthusiastically recommend.

| Okay, everyone's opinion about this anime was generally the same : that it fails to deliver somehing 'unique'. Or the fact that it's just not extraordinary.
However, after watching the current episodes of this anime, I'd have to say, 'it's special in a special way'.
Kaze no Stigma brings a little bit of everything, action, comedy, fantasy with a little bit of romance thrown in too.
The characters have typical anime personalities (yes, a little on the cliché side). However, they still succeed in being very, very entertaining and FUNNY. (Ayano ESPECIALLY X-D)
The animation isn't too bad (the action I found was quite good), the OP song is little out of proportion with the Anime itself (I say with reason this because it sounds irrevelent to the main themes of the anime) - sounding like a 70's - mid 80's song, just a tad bit cheesy.
The story is based on people living in an ordinary city doing out of the ordinary things... such as controlling the four elements (sounds familiar, eh?)
One of the incentive(s) to really continue watching Kaze no Stigma for me I must admit was Ayano and Kazuma's relationship. This aspect, I find interesting as it reminds me of so many similar anime I have seen in the past.
Overall, a decent anime. It has every ingredient needed to create a recipe for success. And I am very much interested to see how the plot will progress in the episodes to come.

| Animation: The animation is ok, but really nothing special in comparison to today's standards. The fight scenes are really rather ho-hum and rather boring to watch. I was more excited watching fight scenes from flame of recca or kenshin which had much worse animation but at least the fight scenes were slightly innovative. The fight scenes here consist of the characters mostly standing still and shooting with flame or wind at each other. Not very exciting. The character designs are also completely unoriginal. The female lead looks exactly like Shana from Shakugan no Shana, only Shana was much more interesting than this girl. The male lead is way too powerful, making the fight scenes utterly boring. Plus, he has zero personality, he is just your typical brooding hero with nothing to actually make anyone care about him or distinguish him from a dozen other similar characters. The female lead is your typical female in love with the main character but in denial and has no real motivation or goals of her own. She is little more than there to support the main character and allow him to show how powerful he is. The younger brother is essentially the same. The story has characters constantly doing stupid and illogical things for no reason, seemingly just to create drama or to allow the main character to show how cool he is. The story is like something someone came up with by playing Mad Libs. After ten episodes I have yet to find anything to keep me watching this.

| There's nothing special about this anime, the storyline is nothing out of the ordinary, the characters have typical anime-personalities and the main character is superior compared to his opponents - so far (10 episodes).
However, the show is enjoyable and putting the fact that it's a typical anime storyline aside, i keep looking forward to watching a new episode every week. It's funny and the animation is very good. Recommended for those who aren't looking for a revolutionary storyline. This anime doesn't challenge your brain. It's about people with powers fighting each other, simply put.
The main character, Kazuma is a laidback, seemingly indifferent guy with the power to manipulate wind. I personally like his attitude, but he's not much of a hero. He's a "contractor", which seems to be a popular term in anime these days.
Why or how he became one hasn't been revealed yet, but i'm hoping the story will develop in the future, cause it's currently just a fairly entertaining filler-anime.
