| I usually avoid animes like these - animes that reiterate on the same theme (in this case, oversized boobs) and make comedy off of this. I really did not enjoy similar comedy animes such as Hayate no Gotoku, and Lucky Star, however something about Kamen no Maid Guy really drew me in, and I watched through all 12 episodes without a hitch/doubt lingering in my mind.
To be honest, I don't have too much to say about this anime. There isn't that much substance, and the storyline/characters are pretty forgettable. However, there is ONE aspect that stood out positively - the Masked Maid Guy. He is a very unique character that I have found no where else, with funny antics that go over the top with excessiveness. With his Maid Guy powers, he doesn't fail to make life interesting for all those around him as he attempts to save his 'Master' from certain doom.
Certainly, there were many times when I wondered whether I was making a bad decision in investing my time in this series that I knew would not have a real plot. For example, the overuse of big boobs means stupid girl did irk me sometimes. The obvious stereotypes of maids, too, kind of annoyed me. However, sometimes these over-the-top stereotypes were precisely why this anime was so funny. There is this one episode where they have a cafe-shop competition. One shop, however, emphasizes boob-service over pastry service. With all girls having a minimum cup size of D, we really have a very interesting scenario. Of course Maid Guy saves the day with his special abilities, we have a lot of fun with the characters that kind of grow on you overtime.
This 12-episode series is only a glimpse of what Kamen no Maid Guy has to offer in the manga. As a result of watching this, it has definitely made me interested in reading more. With its over-the-top hilarious Maid Guy antics alone, I managed to overcome my hatred for useless comedy based on seemingly pointless topics such as maids. However, I found a certain charm to this humor that allowed me to finish these episodes. In conclusion, Kamen no Maid Guy is definitely worth watching if you're a fan of the light-hearted comedy animes with the stereotypical eccentricities that you oft see these days. Otherwise, if you are like me, you may enjoy this because you find Kamen Guy a laughing riot. This anime is one must really try before knowing one will like it. Suffice it to say, each episode is very similar in execution to the one prior.

| Kamen no Maid guy is the story of Naieka Fujiwara, a young woman going to high school whose grandfather is very wealthy. She's about to inherit a large sum of money. However, others who want this money want to eliminate Naieka. To protect her, Naieka's grandfather hires the combat maid Gai to protect her. Gai shows up in full maid outfit and masked, scaring Naieka.

| Of all new anime starts in this spring, this is the anime I expected most. Finally I could watch it.
First, I must note, the opening song is sung by KOTOKO. Recently, her songs are used by many anime, but this opening song is little more comical and cuter than other songs. It sounds like her “denpa” songs of game music, but I miss this song little lacks “depna” comparing to them.
The first episode exactly follows the original story. It didn’t give me a pleasant surprise, but I can watch it easily. Therefore, I can’t talk about the story much now. Please read my manga review if you are interested in the story. I hope they won’t add poor filler episodes to ruin this work in the future.
The seiyu performes as Kogarasi is Koyama Rikiya who played as Hakuoro of Utawarerumono. I laughed a little when I saw the cast because he played as a masked character again, but two characters are totally different. I think his play well fit to the character, and expresses his arrogant and perverted character very well.
I recommend you to read the original manga. It is quite amusing.

I finished watching the series. After all, all the episodes follow the manga. I like it. The ending implies the story will continue, I wonder whether they will make the sequel.
The anime exaggerates the breast of Naeka more than the manga. This anime is ecchi, of course, but it can hardly compete on ecchiness with other ecchi anime in this season, such as Kanokon.
