| Good animation, good sound, and an average storyline. Two of the lead characters, Sanada and Mao, are horrible, selfish people. You'll find yourself regretting investing in this anime before even reaching the halfway point in the series. If you're an emotional masochist, or have the same selfish mindset as the mentioned characters, I would definately suggest this anime for you. If not, I'd say stay away.
The only saving grace is that this anime follows two different lead male characters, the other being Aihara. His story almost makes this series worth it in the end. Almost.

| This is one of the best anime ever, period.
At first i thought that this was a light anime; a normal romance anime, with many kissing and hot (not too hot though) scenes. But still it attracted me: a short video of it i saw on youtube gave ma a good impression. Even if the story wasn't good, it would still be fine to watch, i thought.
So i started watching the whole serie. The end of the first episode is really amazing. You could call it a fast paced episode, wich aims to get the iros hot as soon as possible. But it was REALLY enjoyable.
...And, the ending song is one of the best ever.
I believe that the story doesn't develope too slowly, maybe it's because i enjoyed the anime so much, that i wanted it to continue for many many more episodes. Infact, when i finished watching the whole serie, i started it all over again right after. That's because it really depressed me that the anime was over. I've just finished watching it for the second time, and now i fell much less depressed that the first time ^^. Very few anime gave me the same feeling, and the will to watch it twice consecutively. One of these was suzumiya (kisskiss is not as good as that though, nay, it's just a totally different kind of anime).
The story seems to develope in one direction till the half, but then, some hints make you sense that it may turn in another direction...and indeed in the ending it's amazing! The final episone in particular, is the best of the serie. It's not like a classical love story, but something that may even destroy many people beliefs.
Some people have criticized the anime for that reason, but i don't think the anime gives bad teaching; it's not like a marriage has broken. The main 2 characters just decided to be true to themselves, and thus i believe this is a good teaching.
I won't give you the details about what i've just said, as it's all spoilers, but i'll let you discover it by yourselves.
So, don't be deceived by the anime name (kisskiss piccin kawaiii...), or the ending of the first episode (though it's nice): the story is very very good, i believe it's the strongest point of the anime.
The music is quite good, but not special. The opening and second endings are just good. Some tunes in the OST are very nice (especially the piano ones). And as i've said before, the first ending is one of the best ever, and is the main reason of the high vote of the sound. Of course that's for my personal taste, but i believe the ost is objectively good.
So don't judge the anime before you've finished it. But i really suggest you to watch it; then, i'm most sure you'll agree with me, even though someone may not like it that much, or may not like it at all.

| Kimi kiss is a romance/harem about two guys and girls that enter their lives. I picked this series up pretty much randomly, but it ended up being surprisingly good.
This series is all about character development. There is very little action (unless you consider soccer a lot of action...) and no magic or aliens or supernatural elements. It's just ordinary humans trying to figure out their emotions and feelings.
The pace of the series is a bit slow but it allows for wonderful character development. However, when the series does pick up slightly after the halfway point, it required marathon mode.
This is definitely one of the better romances out there in its realism and overall plot development.

OK seriously this is an awesome flick. How would I explain this anime to someone in one word? Normal, and that is a really good thing. Everything seems so real with characters emotions and actions being seriously drawn out. I hurt when they hurt, and smiled when they did. It was a perfect romance flick that kept you guessing until the end.
The animation was the worst thing about this anime and I gave it an 8 still really high. I think the Characters were nothing special as pointed out in other reviews but I felt that was done intentionally. The show is dealing with average students with normal emotions, and normal problems. Nothing made them "special"... I will go more into that later. There were many character clothing changes which is nice because many anime won't do that, and they were nice costumes. I did think the backgrounds were fairly plain but there were tons of settings and to me it seemed like the background was more or less trying to give this fairy tale feeling without making it unrealistic. Maybe that is just me though. I also liked how they had two openings changing on the 13th episode. Just little things like that make this anime stick out a little more.
The music oh man, this really got me. At first I didn't care for the title music but after understanding what this anime was trying to bring out I really began to dig it. It gets stuck in your head to and then I just kept listening to it. Two ending songs which are both very nice calming songs (very fitting for all the shows endings). I really dug the orchestrated stuff in the show to. Excellently done.
I can see why some people might consider this anime to pace itself too slow, but honestly this flick really shines because of the character development and is not really plot driven. With 6 major characters this can seem to be really a slow moving show. But each character really does grow and begin to shape his or her life into something that is brought out in the show which if done too quickly ruins the realism of the show.
The basic outline ***(minor spoiler) revolves around two guys, each dealing with a little love triangle. (end of spoiler)***
What I really liked about this show was that Sanada and Aihara were not typical male pansies but they still had their own personal struggles. The girls also had things in their own lives to overcome but nothing was too absurd as in other anime.
As I mentioned earlier this series was all character driven. I like that and if that is your cup of tea you will like this show. Each character is pretty normal with maybe the exception of Futami (really overly smart girl) but she did not seem out of place, she just dealt with an odd issue I guess you can say. Some might say that each character really isn't much different from each other, and I would agree, but I think that goes back to the idea on how normal this anime is. Most people deal with the same struggles and hang with people that are similar to themselves. There are though major things that set each person apart like the certain achievements each want to attain and personality quirks that really define the characters.
Loved it. I might see if I can go buy this anime cause I like it that much. Really well done. I enjoyed this more than most anime. It is on my number 1 or 2 spot for best of all time. Sorry Love Hina!!!!(I have seen about 80 different series or movies now) If you want a good romance, check this out. I might try and get my wife to watch this with me!

Although it was very well done, it wasn't my cup of tea. I had to force myself to watch it. The main problem I had with it was its slow pacing. Some of the plot points took too long to develop IMO. It has the feel of being a chick flick. If you're into that, you'll love this. Otherwise...

| Kimi Kiss pure rouge is a great romance anime. It's one of those more subtly dramatic animes that kick you off your feet. Two guys in Two love triangles is too amazing.... Overall, I liked it. It was decent. I liked the twists in the plots and the entire subtle texture about it. I also looooved how there is minimal perversion in this anime. A very down to earth romance kinda like Bokura ga Ita :D

| this anime is a classic love story of a person who finds true love, but has many obsticals to overcome to find that place of happiness. I would recommend this anime to anyone who loves animes with a nice love story. Message back if you find this info helful. >.<

| Ugh. What could have been a good series turned out to be a slow painful show to watch. That should be watch at twice the speed it is. Kimikiss would have been better as a twelve episode anime that would have made it more enjoyable and now so horribly slow. The series may wow some people, but it didn't wow me.
The animations are below average, well there's the good and the bad.

OK, so some of them aren't about animations, but oh well. Short summary of my wonderful chart is that the character designs are the positive and the backgrounds are the negative.
Of course, Kimikiss has to be good at something and that is the excellent voice acting from top notch voice actors. Background music is fine and the OP is pretty well done while the animations show all the girls in the anime in different poses. The ED songs were bleh and I got tired of them, because they always leave you off at those stupid cliffhangers. I DISLIKE KIMIKISS CLIFFHANGERS! GWAH! We'll get to those later.
The story is generic and it's just about a guy who falls in love with a girl and his childhood friend (who's a girl) will help him get together with that girl he loves. But. Wait. There's another guy with the same problem. OMG DRAMA LLAMA! Eh. Actually, it's not that interesting, because everything is so slow that you'll start skipping scenes until you get to the end and that only means one thing. KIMIKISS CLIFFHANGER!!! By now you're probably wondering what that is? Well, at the end of each episode Kimikiss tends to put a cliffhanger. That only makes you want to watch more and more of this show and then you have to wait an entire week. And when the next episode comes you're bored out of your mind until another CLIFFHANGER!!! If Kimikiss did something right that would probably be the constant cliffhangers it had at the end of the episode. Hey, it worked and that's how I ended up finishing this show.
The character are generic, but at least they look nice. Why are all the girls in this anime single at the beginning? If they're so beautiful, shouldn't they be already taken? Whatever. Just proceed with the storyline anyway. No, don't show me dumb frogs. You have Mao who is the childhood friend. Ooooooo. You have Yuumi and her shyness . Ooooooo. You have Kouichi the main male lead who falls in love with Yuumi, but still has a thing for Mao-neechan. Then you have another pair that is almost exactly the same, but still a little different. Asuka, Kazuki, and Eriko. Whatever. Oh, and there are these really annoying frog puppets, but they should've been thrown in the trash for being so annoying and they're taking time away the storyline. Overall, I enjoyed the characters, even though some of them annoyed me to an extent.
I would recommend Kimikiss for the fact that it's an average romance show that doesn't fall into the constant fanservice that most shows have. Don't worry, there's no flying fairies or magical spirits of time. Nope, it's just a regular school life romance anime that is just so .... so ...... so ...... slow. Better to watch at 2x speed or 3x speed.

| While this series may have gotten flack in Japan due to changes made from its (apparently popular) source material, I have to say this series was incredibly enjoyable. While Kimikiss was nothing groundbreaking in any one aspect, everything was done with incredible care. At the end, you can't help but feel immensely attached to the wonderful characters. While not a classic like the director's earlier work on H&C, this series was one of the highlights of its season.

How did I managed to know Kimikiss?Not by specific searching,not by friends' recommendation and of course NOT by its popularity.It is just pure luck.
Moving on,along with some
ongoing series-Kodomo no Jikan and SnS2(same studio),some series
halfway watching-Choketto Sister and DearS,I say KimiKiss is the best overall.
It is heartwarming and light-hearted.It has great characters and cast.It is rather original.It does not attempt to be the special one,but it happens to be special by doing so.You don't have to fantasizes,the situation are quite realistic(only a minor part aren't).Every episodes will leaving you smiling with satisfaction(at least for me,yes).It is the anime that untied the School-Days-knot for me.It makes me reconsider to check out Fruits Basket manga again.It goes very smoothly and have a great ambience throughout.

Animation : Fair graphics though not outstanding. unremarkable color setting, good graphical animation; Character animation regretfully lack a bit of diversity and many share the same face with different hair settings or other accessories. Not an outstanding attention to detail but nothing that gets in the way.
Sound : I like the OP theme,an the ED is ok. Voices are well performed, sounds and soundtrack support the flow of the anime well, altough nothing extraordinary either.
Story : A simple story line but pleasantly set-up with a lively pace and a positive atmosphere. some good jokes, but no big deal at stakes other than a romantic school life. No filler, no ecchi.
Character : a strong point of this anime that makes it easy to adhere to. Character development is very strong. Every one really appears to be unique and credible. The main Character transmit her enthusiasm to the others and this is pretty refreshing. Character treatment is pretty balanced, and an effect of drama is maintained with quite some consistency
Value : Should be fair but too early to tell. Deserves a good place in my collection
Enjoyment : Very good, got caught grinning quite a few times while watching. I am looking forward to next eps with much anticipation.
