| Für die TV-Serie gilt so ziemlich dasselbe wie für die OVA: Yume de Aetara ist eine Standardromanze wie sie im Buche steht und zieht sich an den gängigsten Klischees des Genres von Anfang bis Ende noch oben. Wir haben einen wenig attraktiven, vertrottelten männlichen Hauptcharakter der noch nie in seinem Leben eine Freundin hatte, geschweige denn auch nur einmal mit einem Mädchen Händchen gehalten hat und in das Mädel seiner Träume verschossen ist, ihr gegenüber es aber nicht fertig bringen kann die 3 magischen Worte zu sagen. Hinzu kommt dann noch eine weitere Frau die ihrerseits tiefe Gefühle für ihn hegt und die Beziehung zusätzlich verkompliziert und zum Dreieck werden lässt. Was folgt ist der durch und durch standardmäßige Handlungsverlauf der von einer Fülle an Missverständnissen geprägt ist, die dafür sorgen dass, das Verhältnis zu seiner Flamme einen Rückschlag nach dem anderen erlebt. Der Aufbau der TV-Serie unterscheidet sich von der OVA und die 16 Episoden verlaufen mit einem viel zu monotonen Muster, bei dem sich die Situationen und Vorkommnisse bis zum erbrechen wiederholen. Den einzigen Schritt den die Handlung macht ist der das der Hauptcharakter mit seiner Angebeteten soweit klar wird das sie miteinander ausgehen wollen, danach wird, in Form einer Situation in der unser Held mit Mädchen B anbandelt und Mädchen A aus heiterem Himmel auf der Bildfläche erscheint, Zeuge der Szene wird und sich wütend abwendet, der Rückwärtsgang eingelegt und alles startet in der nächsten Episode wieder bei Null. Und so macht die Serie unbeirrt weiter bis es dann in Richtung Finale geht und das ist auf die Dauer nicht nur frustrierend sondern auch nervig. Apropos nervig, die bis zum Abwinken eingefügten Comedy-Szenen in denen der Held im Schock- oder Glückszustand die Form wechselt und zum Eisbrocken oder zur Matschpfütze wird, sind auf die Dauer einfach nur langweilig und haben sich schon nach gut 4 Episoden soweit abgenutzt das es einfach nicht mehr witzig ist (falls es das von Anfang an überhaupt war…). Zusätzlich irritierend sind die immer wieder eingefügten Ecchi-Szenen die völlig überflüssig und noch weniger handlungsrelevant sind. Was ich bei der TV-Serie ebenfalls vermisse ist die warme und romantische Atmosphäre und die Dramatik die in der OVA immerhin stellenweise gegeben waren. Zwar gibt es ein paar recht herzige Szenen aber diese machen sich über die komplette Spielzeit der 16 Episoden extrem rar und haben auch nicht die Qualität wenigstens einen kleinen emotionalen Einschlag zu erzielen. Fazit: Angesichts der Präsenz der OVA halte ich es für komplett unnötig sich diese, der OVA in allen Belangen unterlegenen, Serie anzuschauen. Der Charme ist fast gänzlich weg und auf Dauer nervt das was man hier zu sehen kriegt nur noch.

| A short story that surprisingly could have been shorter. There was a lot of repetition, the gags were overused and the gratuitous nudity just ate up time. In the beginning, the characters showed potential since they were older than the average 16-17 year old anime character, but aside from the fact that they all hold steady jobs, none of them really act all that much different from a 16 year old. Having said all that, the story is sweet in a saccharine kind of way and it’s not a bad way to pass an hour or two if you’ve got nothing else to do.

| I really enjoyed this anime. I like the characters, the setting, the mood of the story... and the fan service too, but i agree that watching Nagisa taking a shower in every episode is somehow boring and repetitive.
The only thing that i dislike of this anime is the ending. I mean, Fuguno and Hamaoka built a nice relationship, a natural one, and you can see how Hamaoka really develop a real love for Fuguno. The episode of the kiss is my favorite.
As for Nagisa, she is the least developed character in the whole series. She is inmature and selfish. I really can´t understand why Fuguno love her so much. She never developed a relationship with Fuguno and never spent some quality time with him.
Anyway is nice anime to spend a lonely night.

| 6*16 is not the standard among anime series, but it allows for a different kind of story pacing.
This is at most times a really funny romantic series about the anime cliché "total loser that a bunch of girls is in love with", but better than most other in the genre. Tons of humorous side jokes and animation and the main story is intresting, though simple. The ending was as good as it could get considering the fact that the three main characters were one man and two women...
The one thing that spoiled the fun a bit was the very frequent and totally unneccesary fanservice. What is the point in showing the shy kindergaarten teacher taking a shower in every episode?

| i thought it was funny, but the turning into sand, cracking, melting, got a little overdone. i think all the characters were fun to watch except for nagisa (kindergarden teacher). I thought she was extremely annoying, always misunderstanding, not listening to him, stubborn and downright a prude. I liked the ending though, not typical perfect ending.

| 16 episodes,5 minutes per episode,still it feels like it could have been shorter.It's fun to watch,and kinda romantic,but the fanservice ruind it,i think,because it was painfully obvious that the scenes that you see naked girls were just comming out of nowhere and had nothing to do with the story.not much to say about this anime.it's short and sweet,and the whole show feels like a fast forward version of 'love hina'.

| Ok, so this one is a same on as OVA. The different is that they add some echii and more fanservices to this one. Also the comedy part seem to overwheming the romance plot. 16 ep. but only 7 min per ep., so it more like another re-made OVA. If you watch the OVA already, there no point watching this again... except you want to more story that added, or use a couple of laugh. The ending is sad for this one =( But it was more remorable I guess.

| A fun and short little show about love & indecision, with a lot of misunderstandings thrown in. Some nice humor, good art & animation, solid acting. Nothing about it is badly done, but nothing stands out either.
Some ecchi content.

| This is a story about a loser in love, being at the wrong place at the wrong time and most of the time with the same wrong person by unbelieveable coincidence occurences. Not that great but not bad either.
But theres something about this anime that shines. Being a series with less than 10 minute per episodes and having only 16 of them, YDA surprisingly deliver a descent love story with twist of fate and shower fanservice much better than all Onegai series combined!
The animtion dept are bit crappy but the character and scenario aren't bad either. I believe the story itself outshine its dull animation.
The story developes steadily without any unnecessary fillers. Everything goes right where it suppose to be and there are no annoying extra event or character.
If u enjoy triangle love story with with lots of funny moments minus the drag, try this. For me it works better than Love Hina.

| A quite cute anime, isn't all that good - in fact, it is quite bad... but there is something charming about it that I like.
Also, there is alot about it that I don't like - like the oppression of women. How they can be strong and pushing girls at one moment - and in the next they're submitting to whatever treatment they get. If it is japanese culture, or just a perverted director I do not know.

| A story about one guy and two girls. A perfect love triangle setup with interesting conclusion. Although the plot and the story is not that original (slightly overused), you'll enjoy this short anime.
The plus side, this anime is intended to be a fanservice (again? useless nude scene with no relation at all with the story development). Couple nose bleeds and special effects of transformation from human into sand.
I might have to re-watch this anime again to give more detailed review. I watched this anime long time ago and I might forgot something (hopefuly not really important).
