| When I first saw this anime in the store it looked very cool. but it isn't.
it is fun to watch once because of all the battles. but nothing more.
I find this anime very predictable, you could guess what would happen next.

I recomend this to anyone who doesnt mind extreme violance, the story is nice (i mean what do you expect for 6 episodes) and the animation is really good for its time.
The only thing that sucked was the sound..anyone who has seen Laputa or indeed any anime from this time will know about the severe cheese factor..but if you can get around that its a great anime that has a place in anyones collection.

| When the discussion of what to watch with my friends on a designated "anime-night" came up, I worked very hard to get them to watch a quality, enjoyable title like Fullmetal Panic Fumoffu, El Hazard, or even Spriggan. But no, THIS abomination was chosen in its place. I couldn't help but crack jokes as I forced myself to sit through this.
Its unfair to rate an anime TOO bad based on age, but, I simply cannot give the animation a single score higher. In my opinion, despite being the highest score, its probably the single greatest reason for making me lose intrest so fast in this anime. Another one of those 80s-fanserviced to the max-action pieces of crap. And, IMHO, sure there was lots of blood, but I didnt even think the action sequences were as great as I thought they would be.
The dub was awful, and the music... at first I thought someone was playing their videogame way to loud. I couldnt believe that it was the anime producing such terrible music.
The story was boring and mismatched. It started out as a modern spy-type action anime, but continued to get more and more sci-fi. They start out with normal pistols and in the end start shooting 1000-caliber blaster guns. WTF? They should have started it out sci-fi, or ended it modern. It also seemed like the whole battle with the psychic characters were lame.... as if "wow, our secret force is way too powerful for these simple criminals. What can we make them fight next?" And what about, this armor can withstand a blast from a tank? Ridiculous? you got it.
The characters were also treated like garbage the entire time. Besides the stupidity already that the story introduced most of the psychic characters in, all of their designs sucked. There was a little development with angel and a little with Raiden but... thats all I can remember. Dont get attached to any characters... main characters die just as fast and just as easy as supporting ones.
Overall, I hated having to sit through this. My friends didnt seem to mind the lameness and ridculousness, but, then again, they are entertained by mindless fanservice. As the terribleness came apparent, the talking between us became so frequent that we could have just turned the movie off or not watched it to begin with.

| Well, I remember my friend was telling me all about this Anime called Angel Cop that was so cool. I got it for him for Christmas one year and like any good friend I borrowed it from him later to see what all the hype was about. Ha! I tried to be polite to him and tell him this Anime was not my style, but here I am not risking anyone's feelings.
These OVAs sucked. This animation was decent for its time, but the story and character's sucked hardcore.
AVOID!

| An OVA wanting to be cyberpunk but lacking in the amount of people and technology in its world. Characters wanting to be interesting but lacking in background. An action-packed story worth a watch. But not worth a second watch.

| A simple action extravaganza and nothing more. There is no depth or meaning to infer from this show. You simply sit down and watch a lot of huge explosions and people dying gruesome deaths. Character development is almost non existant with most characters dying throughout the show. Not even Angel is given much background info on or a personality (pretty much your typical stoic, cold as ice femme cop). The animation is pretty solid and some of the designs are eye catching enough to look at. But its really hard to sit down and watch a show as long as this with a story that goes nowhere. The continual violence and action was okay for the first few episodes but after that the show became tired.

| The animation is fluid but the color are ugly. The story look like political but it isn't (far to be as political as PatLabor 2). The story is just a pretext to action, there is a lot of blood and gore. The realisator may think that I will qualifie this movie as EXCELLENT for the amount of blood but I qualifie it as BRAINLESS (not as brainless as Hokuto no Ken and Ninja Resurrection). Inspite of the stupid story, the action scene were enjoying (not as good as Akira or Ghost in the Shell) because they included cybernetic technology and psychic power. I'm not too dissapointed of my purshase (25.99$ for 6 episodes) because I wasn't expecting a lot from this movie. I knew that it wasn't intellectual, but I was just looking for something entertaining.
I think american may consider this movie as a classic for the amount of blood this movie contain they only evalue a movie for action and blood they don't know what a psychological, political or philosophical movie is. Sure, the movie is japanese, but maybe it was done for american.

| Whooo this has a different view to it. The animation is kind of old, but the animation is average and good in some parts. The story had some pretty good twists, but you can easily tell who the "mastermind" behind it is. The character designs are your standard "Tough City" kind of outfits, which is a good thing 'cause the blood and carnage only makes it more appealing and believable.
I also recommended, HIGHLY recommended, to get the SUBBED version. The English verions is the old dubbed version, so it's usually bad.

| Ok ok, You all are probably asking why I gave everything high scores except the Enjoyment. Its simple really. I felt sorry for some of the people who died in this anime. They were just nobodies, but it looks like they died in such a cruel way. I felt sorry for them, and it was hard to enjoy it. Maybe I couldn't enjoy it so much because of the first episode and that just stuck with me. I don't want to tell anyone what happens, so just download it and you will know what I mean. (Hint: The Women). I might sound sexiest or something when I say this but. I fell something just goes to far when you see a female die like this. Its just not right.
