Nabari no Ou (not nabari no oh, animeinfo has it wrong =O) tells the tale of a boy named Miharu, and his journey to learn about his past, and about the Shinrabansho inside him. It was a pretty good anime overall, i mean it wasn't BAD, but i was expecting a lot more from it.
The first few episodes were absolutely AMAZING. They had me absolutely captivated. It led me to believe that the anime was going to be about Miharu gaining awsome ninja skills with lots of fighting, etc. Afterwords though, the story somehow turned into some sort of yaoi/drama type of anime. Now I'm not saying thats bad, but they seriously went NOWHERE with it. Over the coarse of about 20 episodes, nothing happened at all. It just kept retelling some emo thoughts over and over. The only thing that kept me from completely dropping this anime was some little voice inside my head telling me "don't worry... the next episode will be better... just wait... I'm sure of it...". But it never happened :(, until the very last few episodes, which were also pretty good.
Well, enough with the cons, the pros about this anime were definitely the animation and sound. The animation reminded me of vampire knight, really pretty ^^. Something weird was that Miharu looked pretty much EXACTLY like his mother... Well anyways, about the sound- the music raised the total impression a lot. Most of it was really dull, or pointless, but nonetheless the music somehow made it interesting... kinda...
Once again, overall, i might recommend this anime, but don't expect too much from it. Some major yaoi fans might enjoy it, but I'm not sure, for I'm really not a fan of yaoi. Even so, i still managed to finish this anime with a pretty good feeling. It had a really good ending, a bit sad though.
