| For background I have been watching anime since Akira and Vampire Hunter first came out, so needless to say I have seen quite a few...
Anyway, I've never reviewed an anime series before because even though I really enjoy anime, there hasn't been one I thought deserved a review. Well obviously until now. The main plot has already been covered so I will just say to go watch it.
The animation had a really good feel to it. The way the characters moved and reacted to their environments was always fluid and easy to watch. also the style of animation was my fave, as little CG as possible.
I am a huge fan of the opening and ending themes but more than that I though that the sound throughout the series was top notch, and you just cant beat the voice actors they used.
Man, great story. I'm not sure what the average anime viewers age is, but for someone who reads a lot, it really felt like I was watching a book laid out in visual form. I was also thankful that they never used a filler episode.
Each one is great and unique. You get to see true love, bravery, daring, intrigue, drama, romance. The characters are ALIVE in this anime.
Well I cant say that I have ever watched an anime twice, but I will no doubt be watching Allison and Lillian again.

| I really enjoyed this anime overall. Every aspect of it was pretty good, except nothing outstanding. I thought that this anime was relaxing, a bit of action, but nothing hardcore.
The animation was good, no doubt about that. You can tell that the animators put a lot of time and effort into that. what i like about the animation is that everything doesnt look "pretty" they dont try to make it look "attractive", but you can still tell that animation was great
The music was amazing too, the opening and endings were very fitting. just general music inside the anime was also fitting, it really set the mood.
The story could have had some improvement. As i said before this is a kindof relaxing anime, nothing hardcore, but the story line didnt have anything interesting to it. everything was plain and simple no suspension, no excitement, but i really liked the connection between the generations of allison and lillia
Characters were original, allison and wil were all amazing people, with wil having the greatest char. development, allison basically stayed the same the whole anime, but thats ok cause i cant imagine her changing... I didnt really like treize at first, but you gradually learn to respect and understand him more
overall value and enjoyment were pretty high, i might consider re-watching this, but not too likely... as i said before, i really enjoyed this anime, but i might not recommend it to some hardcore action loving viewers, but more towards some people who are just looking to pass some time enjoyably.

| To describe it in one word...shallow.
First of all, probably the most noticeable characteristic of this anime is how everything seems to be set up for the writers' convenience. I remember at one point, the characters needed to blow something up, and they just happened to find some dynamite in a shed. At one point, the villains are chasing after a train with a car. Our hero shoots one of the tires, which causes both villains to jump out of the car for some unfathomable reason, and then our hero jumps in to use the car. Things like that happened every episode--it was sickening.
The characters' personalities were fun, I'll admit; especially Allison near the beginning. However, the heroes seemed to have obvious and shallow goals (like saving a bunch of orphan children from an evil villain, or keeping a monarch--a.k.a. a totalitarian dictator--in power). They tend to make incredibly risky decisions without a thought to the possible consequences. The villains were almost always the standard, egomaniacal, selfish, violent morons that don't give up or feel remorse until they're dead.
Animation and sound were decent, nothing special. They tended to use a lot of obvious CG for the vehicles.
In short, this anime will probably keep you entertained if you're willing to turn off your mind, root for the heroes, and watch some action. Otherwise, there are much better animes to spend your time with.
