| I'd definitely recommend this anime to those who likes animation, a must watch series. The story start out well and progress nicely, not like many recent anime which always leave "?" in ur head. The animation looks a bit dated but I gave quite a high score cos come to think of it, it's 20 yrs ago!(so not so bad la) The music's alright but not to my taste so I won't comment much on it. I like most of the characters cos they were well-developed and quite real in the sense that how they react to situations.I really enjoy this anime even though there just battles in every episodes... hm... how to explain .... Anyway, do give it a try, it won't be dissapointing!

| I'm glad someone got this bad boy on the map here as far as a review goes. As much as I would love to just go on ahead and give it straight 10s, I do have to say, the animation is a bit lacking compared to that of today's, but it still has a stylistic flare and nostalgic value all it's own. The lack of quality in this area can be overlooked because everything else in the series is top notch. The story is still excellent and well paced, blending many elements together very well, and the music matches the engrossing setting of Byston Well exactly. Anybody looking for something that is a bit older and can still hold up well to the anime of today might want to give this a try

| A good, but not well known mech series from the early 80's. Aura Battler Dunbine may not be something that today's anime fans would enjoy. But it's not a bad series. The animation doesn't really survive the test of time. And some of the character designs are quite odd by today's standards. However underneath all of this is a surpsingly interesting plot with a few good and interesting characters. A watch for anyone that's interested in the earlier mech series.
