| This is one weird lupin anime. It started well in fact it was quite alright until they decided to give the additional characters the lead role and make lupin the additonal character and the story of lupin is substitute with a lot of flashbacks. Also this has to be the lupin with lots of flesh showing from the female characters

| „Secret of the Twilight Gemini“ gehört zu den ganz wenigen Lupin-Movies wo ich mich regelrecht durchquälen musste. Der Film ist viel zu langatmig und bietet leider auch nicht das was ich an Lupin mag. Die Story ist von viel zu simpler Natur und bietet so gut wie überhaupt keine Spannung, geschweige denn irgendwelche Wendungen die in der Lage sind zu überraschen, da man so ziemlich alles ohne Probleme mit Leichtigkeit voraus sehen kann. Der Verlauf ist sehr monoton und ständig bekommt man zu sehen wie Lupin von seinen Verfolgern, die ihm einmal mehr den Schlüssel zu einem Schatz abjagen wollen, gestellt wird und wie ihm nach kurzem Hickhack standesgemäß die Flucht gelingt. Die dabei auftretende Action vermag nicht wirklich vom Hocker zu reißen und die dazwischen eingestreuten Hintergrundinformationen über den Schatz, die Bösewichter und die Situation des Volkes der Gelten, schaffen es auch nicht für Interesse zu sorgen und motivieren auch nicht großartig dazu sich den Film weiter anzuschauen. Auch der vermeintliche Höhepunkt ist ziemlich misslungen und alles wirkt am Ende viel zu überhastet zum Abschluss gebracht. Für mich der mit Abstand unspektakulärste und lahmste Showdown aller Lupin-Movies die ich bisher gesehen habe. Genauso langweilig wie die Story sind die Charaktere ausgefallen. Lupin ist bei weitem nicht so lustig wie in den meisten anderen Filmen, Goemon und Jigen wirken lieblos eingefügt und tauchen immer wieder urplötzlich wie aus dem Nichts auf und Fujiko ist nur dazu da um viel nackte Haut zu zeigen (überhaupt ist dieser Lupin-Movie derjenige der wohl am meisten Fanservice zu bieten hat). Die Supportfiguren sind schrecklich platt und ich habe sowohl bei Lara als auch beim Boss der Fieslinge den später eintretenden Twist schon lange bevor er eintrat angekündigt. Insgesamt gesehen ist „Secret of the Twilight Gemini“ einfach ein nicht mehr als schwacher Lupin-Film, das kann man leider nicht anders sagen. Viel zu simpel, linear, unkreativ und völlig ohne Bumms. Ich zumindest kann den Film beim besten Willen nicht empfehlen, da gibt es reihenweise bessere Alternativen.

| This Lupin the third movie, was the worst one I have seen so far. The animation is not that good, I actually like the T.V. series animation better. (just kidding). The characters look nothing like they should, especially Fujiko. The story like all of Lupin revolves around theft and espionage. If you would like to know more read my review.

| This is the worst Lupin movie I've seen till now. Animation is second class with the story to suck cow-asses. Didn't convince me. Here some I can remember: How Lupin and the girl escaped the moving sand. They traveled to the final scene for a day and the other characters where in an hour. A camel travels where machines can't. blah blah blah blah

| I haven't watched many of the Lupin episodes since it's really hard to find nowadays. But a friend recommended me this series so I found some of the movies. This is actually the second movie I've watched and was intrigued by the differences between the movie and some of the episodes from the 70's. Nevertheless, enjoyable if you're a Lupin fan.
