| I would be lying if I said that all DBZ movies are crap. This is one of the few that wasn't a chore to watch and it even ended up being quite enjoyable.
The animation is noteworthy...it's way much better than the series' animtion and even above a lot of other DBZ films. There is greater detail, the fighting looks better and all. It's still DBZ in the end so any improvement made are just dust in the wind, the forumula for the animation never changes and that's that.
I watched the dub version of this film. For a change, the dub is awesome. I tried watching the Japanese version but I got annoyed quickly by the voices and cheesy music. The English dub, while ignoring the over-acting voices, boasts with a musical score unlike any other known by DBZ, series of film. There are some very good rock pieces(music, not stones) and actually add a bit of flavor to the otherwise bland battles.
Cooler comes to Earth to avenge his brother and to my surprise, he is a quite alright character. There's something about this character that's a few cuts above others like Lord Slug, Garlic Jr, Janemba, Androind 13, Bojack, Brolly. Cooler is built diferently...the way he battles is interesting to watch. From the entire DBZ franchize, he is my favorite for some obscure reason.
And in the end, the story is exactly the same as every other DBZ film...I'm surprised the producers didn't get bored re-using the same idea over and over and over again: bad guy comes, bad guy sees, bad guy beats the living day-lights out of the heroes, bad guy is defeated by a perverse fluke of fate. For Pete's sake, almost all of the films are based on this crappy formula. Eh, it DBZ...I guess I shouldn't even dare expect more.
All in all, this was a film a few cuts over the usual DBZ babble. Not quite enjoyable but good, in a way.

| Similar to Freeza’s story, with the brother Koola coming to earth to have his revenge on Goku. The usual people in the story go out for a camping trip that included a little comical scene within the story. While most of time, Koola and his gang were coming in and seen with loads of fights on which were involved almost the whole time, and his transformation, also similar to Freeza himself; included with him having his long talk with Goku and then end up fighting again. The only thing that was fairly amusing was the ending of it. Other than that, it's not as good for being another addition to the whole series.

COOLER, considering its a movie the fight ends quick, which is normal, but i really enjoyed the HYPE cooler was given, the story of cooler getting revenge for the death of his brother freiza is amazing, and i noticed that cooler is the excat opposite of freiza,in terms of colours. which is cool

| Einmal mehr ein schwacher DBZ Movie, um eine Plotline für diesen Film zu bekommen entscheidet man sich einfach mal schnell dafür das Freezer auf einmal einen Bruder hat der vorher noch nie erwähnt wurde, aber sehr einfallsreich sind die Köpfe hinter DBZ ja sowieso nie gewesen. Ansonsten alles wie gehabt...

| Dragonball only gets more violent and untastefull with this movie. In short they should have ended the movie era of DBZ with the first movie. So way should people watch this movie? Well it`s Dragonball! Though im not a super fan of the series, it was one of my first anime expirences. It holds a special place in my heart. I know there are tons of anime that are better then this but you know, once you got DBZ you can`t realy hate the anime.
The movie is stampeld with a big "THIS IS A CHILDRENS MOVIE!!!" so dont expect big plot twists and a great and moving story! I for one have understand that every one that hack down on DB dont understand that it is a series/movie for kids. The story dont need a great script. This movie is deffinetly a hit for kids. They will love it!
