| For hardcore Dragonball fans. Admittedly not one of the best or absolutely indispensable DB/Z movies or episodes, but a hardcore fan must have it if only to complete his collection. Still, it's good, brainless violence for good, brainless fun

| How did the producers ever manage to make up to 12 pieces of utter shit in succesion is beyond my ability to understand. Thankfully I haven't seen all of the DBZ movies, but the ones I saw, I saw them in the period when I was an avid fan...I didn't like most of them then, I hate them even more now. Except for this...I saw this one recentlty...I'm wondering how the Hell I could stand through the entire movie...it God-damn awfull.
Animation and sound...what'cha expect? As average as DBZ manages to define the word. The animation is a tad better than most of the other DBZ movies but the sound stayed at the same low level as all of the others. I'm guessing the dub is way better than the original Japanese music and voices. No surprises in these sectors...it's DBZ for Pete's sake.
So this is the story of Brolly's coming back for a new round of messing up the heroes. Woopty doo! Same formula: bad guy comes, bad guy sees, bad guy beats the living daylights out of the Z warriors, bad guy is defeated by a perverse change of fate. Yeap, no straying what-so-ever from that formula. Only that this time the all-powerfull servant of evil encounters the small fries: Goten, Trunks, Videl, Gohan...no Vegeta, and some Goku. The ending sucks big time but at least it didn't feal as rushed as it did in movie 8. Anyway, most of the film is just senseless fighting so to be talking about a story is like saying there's life in the sun's core.
I actually began to like Brolly in this film. He seemed a bit different than the Brolly in film 8. He thinks, he acts...he seems tame. Until he pumps up and becomes a fighting piece of flesh animated by pure energy and 0 cerebral impulses. Yeap, same old Brolly, any delusions I had that he may just turn up to be an unexpected jewel of a character drowned just like Cell in Gohan's KaMeHaMeHa. The good guys are forgetable as well.
Value...not for me...deleted the film from my hard drive with utmost satisfaction. I won't get it ever again except if I get a lobotomy and I loose the notion of how bad this film was.
The only reason it gets 2 for enjoyment instead of 1 is because of some good pieces of fighting and Trunks peeing his pants and Brolly's head.

| *Sigh*, yet another excuse to bring back the whining Brolly. This movie is even worse than the 1st Brolly movie, and not nearly as bad as Bio Brolly which is god-awful. Unbelieveably, I managed to watch the whole thing, and about the only good thing I will say about this movie is when Trunks pisses on Brolly's head, THAT was hillarious! It was the only thing that kept me from giving a 1 in the Enjoyment factor. Again, the animation is a little better than the TV series and is even up to par with movies of that time, just about everything else is Bull Shit beyond comprehension. After this movie, you'd think the whole Brolly thing would be over right? Wait! There's more! Brolly comes back yet again a couple of movies down the road. This time as a clone of the original Brolly, and covered in something that makes him look like a Swamp Monster. Now THAT movie stinks even worse than this one.

| wow he gets covered by lava and puff he is back...wtf was that if lava covers your whole body you are surely going to die...but not the cast of dbz....if we were only 2D characters in a dbz we would never day because we have super powers....and if we get really old we could just ask the dragon to make us young again....now wouldnt that be wonderful..but we dont have that type of power and we dont have dragons that make wishes...thats the sad truth of the real world..we cant be super strong and fly..we just get older and older until we die...now that sounds like fun....

| Ok, once again, the insane Broilli wasn't all the way down and wants to go for a round 2, well he got a round 2 in this movie, alright..
Good points, I'm not gonna keep talking about animation/sound/charactesr cuz they are all the same in the movies unless some new guy walks in, etc. THEY ARE ALL FINE.
Bad points..It wasnt as enjoyable as movie 8 since the only ones fighting were goten, trunks, and gohan. Wasnt very original either, I mean, you'd think that Broilli would just friggin die but NO, he's gotta somehow come back..oh well..it was still an OK movie..Go watch it, then toss it ^_^

| Wieder mal ein recht guter Movie der wie fast alle anderen dieselbe Storykrankheit hat. Doch Trunks und Goten haben dafür gesorgt das ich diesen Movie sehr unterhaltend fand und Brolly ist sowieso ein absoluter Kultcharackter.
