| Ep.1 <-- Fill with boobs. Boobs everywhere, left, right, stright, up, down, turns back and you still got boobs.
Ep.2 <-- Try to be like the TV series, start off with mission and stuff then turn into a big zombie kind of anime.
Ep.3 <-- Fill with romace and childhood story. Base on the promising+legendary tree, they met and remember it for the rest of their life.
Don't be fool by the ep.1. Ep.2-3 really pack with story and untold detail that never been told in the TV series. I don't read manga so I don't know if this stuff is pull from the manga original(like they said) or they just made it all from the last min. Anyway, it still fun, ecchi, and full energy like the TV series did.

| The Sorceror Hunters OVA, is a short anime three episodes long. This makes sense because it is an OVA, but in order to get the full story watch the T.V. series, or read the manga. | Eigentlich wollte ich diese OVA nur schnell hinter mich bringen da ich nach der schrecklichen TV-Serie verständlicherweise keine großen Erwartungen hatte was diesen 3teiler angeht. Erfreulicher- und überraschenderweise gestalten sich diese 3 Episoden um einiges unterhaltsamer als der lahme Vorgänger. Im Gegensatz zur Serie stimmt die Comedy diesesmal. Auch die Charaktere waren mir um einiges sympathischer und manche Figuren waren kaum wiederzuerkennen was mir sehr positiv entgegen kam. Was ebenfalls nicht zu übersehen ist, ist der ziemlich hohe Anteil an Ecchi der teilweise sogar leicht über die Stränge schlägt aber trotzdem meiner Unterhaltung zu Gute kam da er gut mit der Comedy harmoniert. Vom Inhalt sind die 3 Episoden erwartungsgemäß wenig anspruchsvoll aber das tut dem Spaß kaum einen Abbruch. Die TV-Serie kann man getrost vergessen aber diese OVA ist durchaus sehenswert und vor allem Fans von Ecchi-Comedys zu empfehlen.

| Often called closer to the manga and better than the TV series, I just don't see what's so great about the Bakuretsu Hunters OVA. While the TV series had a nearly complete story, lots of comedy, and a great production value, the OVA throws all this out the window in favor of a few cheap thrills.
On the bright side, we get to see new characters in the OVA such as Gateau's sister and Lila, as well as the truer personality and power of other cast members. The battles are quite interesting, and the character design of the zombie girl is really well done. There's a bit more violence and blood as well.
The bad news is that the comedy just isn't that funny for the most part. And while I cheer nudity in anime, casual nudity really isn't all that interesting. The first 5+ minutes of episode one is spent in a public bath, and after it drags on for long enough there's really not much thrill left to simple cell shaded characters. Considering this is one of the OVAs main draws, it could have been better.
It's certainly worth watching at least once for the rather exciting battle, the massive fan service, and the new characters. But in the end, Bakuretsu Hunters OVA would have been better as filler episodes to the TV series, as that's all it really amounts to.

| Every anime should have an OVA like this. It's basically a bundle of fanservice from start to finish (especially in the first episode), and after the conclusion of the original series, that's just what the doctor ordered. This OVA basically = Sorcerer Hunters + nipples, though that really isn't giving it enough credit. Fanservice aside, the OVA is much funnier than the original series. It doesn't live up to the series in terms of action or animation, but the perverted comedy more than makes up for it and on the whole I found the OVA better than the series.

| Soft core porn run amuck ... that's how I'd describe the BH OVAs. :)
Really, though ... there isn't much to them. Sure, they do keep to the original manga much better than the tv series (which was toned down, I assume, to be more paletable to the masses). However, there wasn't really that much revealed in them.
The first episode was strictly fan service. More boobs than in most hentai flicks ... plus the only thing that keeps it from being outright porn is the lack of any penetration. No real story to this one at all.
The second episode was by far the best of the 3, because something actually happened in it. However, short of showing us Milfi Yu's power, nothing was really accomplished in this one either.
That leaves us with the last episode, which merely was a character builder. Nothing much happened in it until the very end, when we got to see more of the relationship between Carrot, Marron, Chocolate, and Tira. But even then ... nothing to write home about.
So overall, if you're a big fan of BH, then watch it just to say you've seen it. Otherwise, you aren't really missing anything that you wouldn't get if you just entered "pornography" in your web browser.

| I had only seen a couple of eps of the Sorcerer Hunters Tv version before watching this. I was amazed because it was alot different than the TV show.
This was 10 times funnier and the characters were more intresting.
The comedy reminded me of Tenchi but was a whole lot more Ecchi. If you liked the other Sorcerer Hunters, you'll get a kick out of this!

| Borrowing more from the manga then the TV series (including Tira's and Chocolate's more revealing outfits) the OVAs contain a more sexual in nature comedy. All the characters that we know and love return, with a couple of new ones that I am guessing come from the manga. Funny and naughty all in one sweeping package. Fans of the TV series should check these out. While nothing plot wise happens, they are a lot of fun to watch, and capture a slightly different, more ecchi feeling then the TV series.

| Well this seems to be the ecchi, almost reaching the point of hentai, but sucessfully enough the OVA was closer to the Manga then the TV series and it was okay. The first episode started off with a hotsprings, it seems to be the only erotic thing ecchi can get, and we all know what horsprings translate in ecchi. But their all chasing after everyone else and not taking itself seriously since one of them argues with the narrotor. It wasn't bad, probably because it was pure fan service, but their's really no plot, but some development.
