| I just watched all 41 episodes in a row, and I wish I there had been more to see.
As the information states it is about Hiro and baseball, the episodes progress very slowly with certain games taking up to three straight episodes to complete. During that time you get to know the characters better and get entertained in a very nice way. What makes it worth watching is the relationships and plot, well more the humor in my case but that might not suit your taste.
Something worth pointing out is that I saw two places in the whole 41 episode series that could be described as violent and those contained no blood. There was an occasional ball that led to a nosebleed, or a scraped knee/broken arm that came up but those weren't even slightly frightening and I wouldn't say children couldn't watch this. An occasional joke or two might be inappropriate but nothing compared to modern children shows. I still think that it is more suited for adults due to a few of the jokes and the slow pace.
Even if you don't like baseball I think this animation will make you want to go out and pick up a bat just because it looks like they have so much fun. I won't do it of course but I kind of feel like watching a game or two...

The series is about baseball which is the sport I don't really fond of, but still this anime make it look cool and it sure convice me why everyone still like this sport. The anime is slow-pace with nice going style. The main character is rather cool and didn't do something stupid most of the time. Support characters go well with the childhood story. The bad guy keep sneaky while the good guy that try to be the guy trying to make the story intense from time to time. Too bad the story got cut off at ep.41 where they just tell us to follow our dream and the series end.

| Same baseball story like Touch from same author but not the same as you might think. The ecchi level just a bit and I don't think this anime suits the echhi genre. It's very funny and I love the way it starts. Two best player going to a school that has no baseball club.
Too bad that that they made this anime when the manga still continue but for the true ending, you can read the manga and it's a nice one I would say. The animation and soundtrack really nice.

| I am a big fan of Adachi Mitsaru from Touch to Rough, H2, Katsu, etc. Among those anime, H2 is among the best. I love this anime, however I am very disappoint that the anime did not carry this story to the very end. H2 is the love square between Hiro, Hideo (both name in Japanese mean Hero) who fall in love with Hikari and Haruka. I rather say it should be call H4 as there are 4 people with the name started with H in the story. However H2 means two heroes, also the fight between Hiro and Hideo will be conclude in manga book 34, which did not cover in the anime. Hideo is a baseball star who joined the prestigeous Meiwa Daichi, the leading baseball school in Japan. While, Hiro who was his colleague joined Senkawa the famous soccer school. Hiro want to gave up baseball after his injury. However his life is not as simple as that. He loved Hikari, who is his childhood friend. However, she choose Hideo ahead of Hiro. In reality, Hikari still love Hiro. Haruka is another girl, who fall in love with Hiro at the first sight. This is a perfect Romantic sport anime.

| wow, this is a great anime. It's very atmospheric. It gives you a sense of drama and a quiet mood,which seems to really touch your soul, to the overall feel. I've seen Touch before this one, and I can honestly say that H2 is better than Touch, overall.

| I think the animation/sound are solid, but the story is pretty damn good. Unfortunately, the pacing of this series is reminescent of all the other animes that follow their manga counterparts too closely (DBZ, for example) and the action is extremely slow. However, if you watch it all in a couple of weeks with the forward button handy, then all is good.

| It's a typical sports anime. The pacing was a bit slow. The games lasted too long. I wouldn't mind the long games but there wasn't enough action to keep me hooked. I liked the characters. Hiro and Hikari are nice characters but some of the characters were underdeveloped. For an anime that came out in 1995, the animation is not very good. The ending was a disappointment but I still enjoyed watching this anime.

| It`s a great anime for people who likes sportanime, Its about Baseball. It has everything in it:)It also have a romantic touch in it so people who dont like sport may like this anime. I am just telling you watch it before you decide if you like it or not :)
