| KO Beast is the story of three young people. Wan Derbard is a man who can morph into a cat-man; Mei-mer is a woman who can morph into a mermaid; and Bud Mint can turn into a flying bird. Together they set out to find Gaia, which supposedly holds a great treasure.
In fact it turned out that more than 10,000 years ago, mankind made two supercomputers, Uranus and Gaia, to help them figure out how to have a better life. Gaia concluded that mankind should flow with nature; Uranus concluded the opposite. Factions that supported both sides went to war and eventually the earth was split in two, sending the Uranus side into another dimension. Uranus has found a way back to our dimension and wants to reunite earth again.

| Giving a little boost on the rating cause everyone should see this little rare ova.
Fun Fun Funny anime and everyone will get what they want. If you want pure fun and comedies you just set point to thouse half-beast and if you want a good story then you will a great explaination at the last ep. Everything make sense, believe me I'm dumb as thouse beast and I can understand this. They got a happy ending, everyone win.

| I'm perhaps not qualified to review this, having only seen half of it. But let's face it, you don't have many options when it comes to a practically prehistoric 1992 anime that you probably could not find on the Internet, thus rendering it practically dead to future generations.
KO Century Beast is simply a very fun romp. I don't know at what point it was no longer enough for you to have a good time watching an anime, but KO Century Beast predates that. I've watched what I had many times, and I adore it. I can't rate very highly because it wouldn't be fair to other animes I've reviewed, but I want to quite badly.
I guess it's not really worth the time watching it with so many great animes today and the difficulty finding it, but I guess anime has moved on.

| Hmmm..I only watched the 4th episode on DVD. Didn't really know it was by Gainax. Since it's only 1 ep I can't really give a value on story,character anc value. For a 1992 anime, it's got pretty nice animation. The thing I really enjoyed was the fighting and the comedy. The comedy is really great, maybe slayers took a bit from it(the ravenous eating part). If you enjoy funny anime, this is pretty funny. The action sequences are neat too. Hey it's only 7 eps. Go watch it..I'm trying to see if there are any online 'cos it's like really old. Give it a shot=)
