| Maps is the tale of Tokishima Gen, your average guy who happens to be one of the last Nomad Tribesmen. He and his girlfriend Hoshimi are taken away by the ship Lipumira, who is also a humanoid woman. They are to hunt for the pieces of the star map and unite them.

| i really tryed hard to enjoy this title, but it was just a 'no-go.' the story was just, boring. it has to many loopholes, and just makes no sense at all. i can understand why some people may enjoy these kinda animes, but this one has nothing redeeming about it.
it tryed to be a deep anime, but it just ended up being a deeply boring anime.

| A poor story without a clear ending.
Four episodes should be enough, but for some reason it turns out that the timing is incredibly poor and the ending suddenly rushes out from nowhere. And the storyline is so bad, that even your pet wouldn't believe that piece of junk glass or so called "MAP" can save the universe!
If you can overlook it, then the animation is kinda good and the opening song is excellent.

| You know, come to think of it. Most of the Anime that A.D.V licensed before Evangelion had two things in common. Spectacular animation and shitty story lines. That pretty much sums up this OVA. The story and characters are horribly boring, and the occasional fanservice really doesn't help things either. It shouldn't take much for people to overlook this anime considering it's not well known, and is almost impossible to find in a store that sells anime (I got this at a used video/book store). Oh yeah and the fact that it just stinks in more ways than one.

| Ok ova. not a bad story although its not explained well for the amount of episodes the series has. its worth seing once.

| Another stinking anime... Awful story, apalling characters... goes nowhere and is incredibly boring. If you are into S&M, go watch this. It's a good torture.
