| A cyberpunk manga by CLAMP? Indeed and it is a very good one. Probably their most abstract work so far so it may be peculiar to fans who're used in easier narratives like CCS. Probably the best thing is to read some abstract mangas before delving into this. But if you liked the ''City with no people'' sequence in Chobits, basically Clover has an almost identical narrative.
It needs to be read 2-3 times to fully grasp the plot
Sometimes it feels as if reading a poem. The Tokyopop translation worked well. Even though not much dialog is used it manages to impress.
The design though sparse, is detailed where need be and creates an artistry unparalleled in any CLAMP manga, except maybe X-1999. That is why I rate it so high. Minimalistic design can also impress and Mokona Apapa knows how to draw in that way.
Worth reading since it is the most unique work of CLAMP and able to compete with other similar mangas.

| Simply Beautiful! Nothing can describe the artistic ability better than CLAMP. At first I did not get the story, but as I went throught is a second time. I was amazed and sad for the fate of Suu. The characters are well drawn the songs are poetic and beautiful.

| This manga is truly the most beautiful one I've ever had the chance to read. The drawings are stunning. Although some complain that the pages are too blank, I love the idea. It's very different and adds to the "feel" of the story.
However, I get the feeling that beautiful is all this manga is. It felt like the plot was very rushed. The initial plot only takes two volumes - two very SHORT volumes. The plot can get rather confusing, as well. Because of the series' shortness, we never do find out much about the world of Clover, the Clover project conducted by the government, or even Clover's characters.
Overall, the manga is very pretty to look at but the plot leaves a lot of question marks. It's also quite angsty so if it's not your thing, I wouldn't pick this one up. It's a serious manga that delves into what it means to be happy and (subtly) why we exist only to die in the end.
Oh and the manga volumes with the dust-cover jacket is very pretty but horrendously expensive for manga. Each volume of Clover I bought cost me about $25 (Cdn.), which is a lot for its length, compared to some other (longer and relatively more interesting) manga, which cost only about $15 (Cdn.)
In conclusion, it's an alright manga. It excels in the design department but lags elsewhere.

| Mokona Apapa is just very good. This is the most beautiful drawing by Mokona Apapa. Those who are CLAMP fanatics should have this.

| I didn't understand it at first but reading it a second time really helped and now I think I understand most of it. Pulse the drawings are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

| Although the story doesn't evolve that well, the way it's told is amazing.
This is probably the most beautiful manga from Clamp, and my favorite of them this far.

| Omg... SUCH a good manga... I wish they didnt' DROP it... that's the one grudge I hold from CLAMP. The art is very different too... believe me, it's a style CLAMP's never done before. The design is very abstract as well, since the background is so white... I gave the story a 5 because the first two volumes were very straightforward, the last 2 volumes were flashbacks, and in the next volumes... well there just was no story becuase they dont' exist. Bad CLAMP! but good manga.

| This is a work of art. CLAMP certainly took a risk in drawing this manga, and they have succeeded. It is certainly one of the best works in the manga world. Girls would probably enjoy the story more than guys would.

the story is complex and very fun to unrabell, with chacters u gotto love and care about.
peopol says the art is amazing i have tried a few diffrent fansubbs and probably they are correct.
In the past i havnt been to fond of CLAMP but i still love this manga
both thumbs up
