| Panyo Panyo is one of those stories that you'll love immediately or absolutely hate. It's filled with sugar-on-saccharine-on-aspartame-on-splenda sweetness. It was primarily geared towards young girls, and it shows. Dejiko here wants to be a star, so she gathers a bunch of people together to help her entertain the planet of Di Gi Charat. Trying to stop her are Di Gi Devil and Piyoko.

This is the most forgettable anime I've ever seen. It's something you could live without seeing, but I guess a true otaku should watch bad anime as well. The animation is much better than Digi Charat, and I also liked the music as well. It does get kind of boring at times, and the episodes were VERY forgetable! Unfortiountly I REALLY hated the American voice cast, I mean Gema, you can't even understand him! I agree with nightfox, they should have kept the characters original personalities. And I hate that they got rid of Rabi~en~Rose, Minataku, and so on.

| If you've read all the other reviews up until now, you'll notice there aren't any positive ones. I enjoyed Panyo Panyo the most out of all the Di Gi Charat series, it is made for a younger audience and if you don't like that then there's _plenty_ of other Di Gi Charat series to watch instead.

| Ok, the animation here is far better than in the original series, but still some way to go.
Unfortunately, this is made more like a cartoon, probably making it to be aired in the US. It will never air there, surely.
I really enjoy this anime, based on the various happenings each episode. Cuter than ever, Dejiko-nyoo!

| In my opinion, Dejiko in this series in very soft & nice, compared to the wild & crazy Dejiko in other DGC series. May be because of this sudden change, I don't really enjoy this anime. It really reminds me into Hello Kitty or any other kiddy-anime.

| This just doesn't live up to its predecessors. Whether its the longer episodes or the superdeformed characters, this series just loses all the bizarre, frenetic charm of the original. I do like the intro song though, however sugar-coated and stupid.
Personally, I think you have a problem whenever you don't have to alter character dimensions whatsoever to turn them into a UFO catcher doll. Avoid.
On further watching...the series does improve somewhat, but still doesn't live up to its potential and really just shows how the more sense Di Gi Charat tries to make, the more it begins to fail miserably.
