| This is a really weird OVA. A lot of it spoils the anime, well everything spoils the anime. The story is too short, does not contribute to the series, and all you get is really 6 eps of anime fillers with some fanservice. It will only appeal to the fans of the series.

| Although significantly better than the first OVA, Sakura Wars II still manages to be only mediocre. Like the first installment, this has very little story; unlike the original, however, the self-contained episodes aren’t completely sleep-inducing. Each episode centers on one of the girls (and the main character has very little screen time until the last two episodes, which focus on her). The problem with this is that the characters themselves aren’t very interesting, but the situations they come across, however, didn’t put me to sleep. It’s also worth noting that, although only six episodes, Sakura Wars II is not without the completely crappy vignette. The second episode, for example, focused on the most annoying character in the anime: the annoying little girl named Iris. After all is said and done, this isn't something to pass up unless you're particularly bored or have nothing better to do.

| This thing goes way way too fast. All of the sudden they add 2 more members in the team without telling us first. I guess these ova is just like a preview from game or maybe just a glimp to make us addict.
Although this ova might concentrate on chars than the real story, each ep. got their own little goodie story with have to do with chars. As the main mystery that where the hell Ogami gonna go, we'll never know. You could just title this ova as "Character Side Story".

| Sakura Wars 2, was the more in depth of the two Sakura Wars OVA's. The characters are much more closely examined in this series. Background information is provided for most of the characters. Also two new characters are introduced Orihime, and Leni. If you want to know more read my review.

| This is tough. I realy didn't like the movie, I enjoyed the first ova to a some degree, then I watched the second ova and have feelings somewhere in the middle.
In all honesty this was pretty bad, but something about it still made me enjoy watching it. On top of the characters that were in the first ova, we have two additions, an italian and a german girl, who are just there and we dont know why. There's not much of a story as all the eps are 'character of the week'. Now, that's not always bad, especialy when it lets you get to know the characters better. Unfortunatley unless you've played the games you dont realy know who the characters are or what they're like.
The whole sakura taisen franchise is the insider's club of anime. You have to know someone to get in and once you do, only a master of the material will get you any respect. For everyone else, you're left out.
I guess the games are pretty wild in japan, but it amazes me that the animes get licenced in the US as they are pretty pointless unless you've played the games.

| This second ST OVA sure does better than the 1st, although they sure did little to make the OVAs continue like a flowing story.
