Initially I was surprised by the title since it rather refers to a MILF movie than a kids series

After Full Moon and Fancy Lala I managed to watch the first series about magical girls and singing contests. And I have to say I enjoyed the series much more than the other two. The final episode was also much better and very touching. The two cats beat the other shows pets also. But Full Moon has the lion's share in popularity for no apparent reason. Probably because it is much more manipulative.

Some episodes were too childish for my taste but most were enjoyable and they had also that fairy tale atmosphere, something that most magical girl shows would later omit so as to focus just in battling monsters.

Animation for a kids TV series in 1983 was decent and some moments were unique and well animated. The fact that Creamy Mami has to travel to imaginary worlds makes the series less boring than I initially thought it would be.

Characters would have been annoying if it werent for the two cats. They were amazing and very funny to watch.

The music was mainly for kids and despite the fluffy lyrics, the last episode was very well directed and reminded me why anime of the 70s and 80s had memorable series.

Overall an interesting series. Though I think there were better shows like Flower Angel and Lalabelle and if I find them I'll give them a look, Creamy Mami deserves a watch for 80s fans. Though I'd like also to watch the fairy tale that inspired all magical girl anime series, namely Cendrillon, that was also made into an anime series.

Anime for kids but it's pretty good.

it's not the first shoujo but still it's probalby one of the first and it shows you where shoujo came from... the roots like full moon wo sagashite.

This series is really fairly stupid, and targetted at little kids besides. The plot riddled with plotholes and the "humor" consists mostly of people falling down for no appearent reason. Nonetheless I found myself enjoying it quite a bit, so I am giving it a positive rating. (Note to other reviewers: on a scale of 1 to 10, anything above 5 is good.) The characters were interesting, and the plot managed to engage me when I looked past its gaping holes.

I think the OP is wonderful! Although The story is slightly babyish. I think I only like the artwork of Creamy Mami and not anything else. x3

This anime is something that I watched back when I was very Very young "more like 1 - 2 yrs old" lol hahaha ... =) Another good ol days anime, pobably the first anime that I ever seen.

Anyways, I got a chance to watch a few random eps. again, at first I fought it pobably won't be any good any more since I don't rember liking this show when I was young, but as I saw a few of these eps. Its actually not bad. =)

The artworks of course can't live up to todays anime, but its still looks pretty good. The storyline and character developments are actually really well done. The songs and stuff its as I remebered, "Wheres the mute botton... j/k its actually okay, but its really 80 ish. =/ The whole story in genreal may not seen as something original, but the thing is, this anime is one of the Original, one of the veyr first, "Shoujo" "Magic Girl" type anime. ^_^

Overall, after all these years, this anime like many of the old classicc ones, doesn't really fades their good stuff. =) Still Remmandable to all anime fans. ^_^

Idol Mahoushoujo, the first studio pierrot magical girl show (of 4). Famous character designs, good voices, all around a good show about a young girl who becomes and idol but also has other problems in life. Lolicon fans are treated to pleanty of panty shots, an occasional nude bath scene, and even a child spanking (fetish?) display.

I enjoyed this show a lot more than I originally expected to. It's a very old series which definitely shows in the animation but it's a classic definitely worth watching. This is the typical magical girls series, one of the earliest I believe and I can see how a lot of newer magical girls anime have their roots in this one (Full Moon comes to mind). The story is cute, funny, and sweet, the characters are enjoyable, the episodes are never boring and even the transformation isn't overly drawn out. Even though this one fits in the magical girls category, like Full Moon it strays from the more typical heroine fighting a villain of the day and at least so far is more about the characters, and their development.

This one isn't overly complex or very deep and meaningful but if you like magical girls series it's a *must* see. Even if that genre's not your favorite I still say give this one a shot, it's worth it just to see how much anime has progressed and yet how it's still nearly the same.
