| I was going over the review before I watched this and I have to say that while most were good, there were some, that was very discouraging. However, this turns out to be very good. I enjoyed watching it and did have plenty of laugh. It isn't the league of FMA but certainly it doesn't deserve a 1.0 rating either (then again, even if you thought the antics were bad an unoriginal, how can you give the animation, sound, and the various other categories that doesn't even go with that a 1 or 0 is beyong me). This series in itself though is not complete so if you plan on watching this, be sure to watch the Christmas Special, Spring Special, and Love Hina Again. |
| Animation |
| The animation is pretty much inline with most of the other animation that I have seen. It isn't perfect but then again, nothing is. |
| Sound |
| I didn't like the opening theme or the ending theme. Some of the background music were good but I especially like some of the songs within the episodes, I thought those were pretty good. The voices were on average, not spectacular, but not bad either. I listened to both version and surprising, I found some of the English version one sounded more as a fit for the character than the Japanese one, surprising I know, generally, I wouldn't even think that. |
| Story |
| I think my rating for the story is kinda high since, well, it isn't exactly original. But you also have to consider that there has already been so many other animes of this type that it isn't exactly that easy to create a completly original storyline. But the flying turtles and the robotic one was kinda interesting. |
| Character |
| I actually would have like to learn a little more about the other characters besides just Keitaro and Naru. Nevertheless, I do like most of the characters. Certainly, you do have feelings for some of them, be it happy or sad, but if an anime can make you hate or like a character, then they have done something right. It is the ones where you have absolutely no feelings at all is the one that really sucks. |

| I never re-watch any anime so don't ask me for that. However, I do think that people that likes comedies would certainly enjoy watching it again. I for one will watch it if something new comes up, making another special, OVA, or whole new season or something. |
